The Killers
Hot Fuss
The Killers' debut is just what media giants launching prototype indie rock radio stations are looking for--garage revivalists with a fondness
for synthesizers and a refined, carefully mussed presentation. Whether or not they're the next White Stripes or Strokes, they do offer a few
tunes with snappy lyrics and nu-wave soul. In fact, they employ gospel singers to chime in on a couple of songs. But for the most part, The Killers
are kicking up trodden soil that Interpol and Ima Robot have already flagged with considerably more panache.
