Berlin... 7th Feb... That's my big birthday.. Anyone want to join me in Germany for my birthday bash? I'm seriously gonna look at flights Monday morning..

poobs - 12-13-2003 at 10:39 PM

Dude..I would if I could..What big b-day is this? 18? 21? 30? 50? Those are all pretty big in my book!!:D

DylerPlummer - 12-14-2003 at 01:20 AM

poobs.. It's none of them and i don't really want to say as it's probably gonne sound old(ish ) to most people but it's bang in the middle of the last two numbers you wrote.. Ha ha..
Anyway i reckon you're only old on the actual day of your birthday.. The day after ,before and every other day you can be 21,18,5,70 any number you want or how ever old you feel... Doe's that make sense?

draconian - 12-14-2003 at 07:47 AM

Don't forget that with age comes the benefits of having an income! I say get the plane tickets and enjoy Berlin. I've only been there once but it was quite a fun city. And you guys have all those cheap fares for travel within Europe going on, don't you?

Phobiac - 12-14-2003 at 10:44 AM

Yeah, what is it...Ryan Air or Easy Jet. I flew from Paris to London for like 13 pounds or $20 U.S. Crazy cheap fares.

Hmmm...a trip to Germany....

colforbin6 - 12-14-2003 at 11:30 AM

are you kidding?

draconian - 12-14-2003 at 12:10 PM

The only downside is that you have to fly out of armpit airports.

Ah, don't rub it in! I'd love to go to Germany and see them live! I'm jealous, let's just not talk about it anymore.....:(

Phobiac - 12-14-2003 at 01:51 PM

The Colonel!

No, not joking. I think I flew from Charles DeGaul to Gatewick. Not so bad.

Yeah, if you live in the UK you're pretty much set with RyanAir (http://www.ryanair.com/). I just looked at what a flight to Berlin would run, 20 Pounds! You have to fly out of Stansted and fly into Schonefeld.

DylerPlummer - 12-14-2003 at 03:05 PM

I'm gonna go and i'm gonna fly from Heathrow as it's only 15 minutes from me and i'm also gonna use my airmiles so it'll be even cheaper.. True about with age comes the benefit of an income but with 4 children that income gets swallowed up pretty quick.. Ha ha.

lomax - 12-15-2003 at 08:21 AM

man. good lick with thte trip. i would say i'd join you, but i only work at the co-op in the evenings and cant relly afordto!! you going with mates or what?

DylerPlummer - 12-15-2003 at 09:53 AM

I haven'y got any.. Ha ha..
A couple have said sounds good but as it's not down the road they'll take a bit of sweet talking.. There's a band called The Servant (remind me of ImaRobot) and a few of us have travelled to France, Belgium and Holland to seee them so.. You never know. Have a listen to the link i've added..

My goodness, you've been a busy little bee.;)

DylerPlummer - 12-15-2003 at 10:59 AM

If you're talking about the 4 children.. I got them at the super market.. In England you get great airmiles offers when you buy children on certain shopping trips.. So to keep my airmiles balance in the green so i can fly around the globe watching great bands (like ImaRobot) i buy a child every so often.. Lucky for me i've no need to buy anymore children as i've got loadsa airmiles..

lodnem - 12-15-2003 at 04:06 PM
