Hey, we're over 2000 members! Number 2000 was ryan97ou.
ryan97ou if you reply to this and send me a U2U with a mailing address I send you a promo copy of the Dynomite single.colforbin6 - 12-16-2003 at 10:25 PM
I must say that if Ima Robot has sold less than 20 thousand copies of the album but managed to get 2000 people (and counting) signed up at .net
that's the makings of a very loyal, involved fanbase.TurtleEnterprises - 12-16-2003 at 11:19 PM
Aww Welcome member 2000 ryan97ou! :Dlomax - 12-17-2003 at 01:45 AM
thats one .netter to every ten albums!!! blimey, that is very cool!! did ryan reply? is he can give us an appearance?!draconian - 12-17-2003 at 05:22 AM
That is a pretty loyal fanbase that is building. We get a jump in membership after tourdates so with the January shows maybe 3000 isn't so far
off.
ryan97ou is now exclusively working through Pat Kingsley and is not available for comment unless we can guarantee him a plug of his upcoming biopic
about being .net's 2000th member.n0lram - 12-19-2003 at 04:09 PM
now if we could only have MORE and um MORE people post. variety is good.lomax - 12-23-2003 at 03:34 AM
exactly. we have 2000 members. but how many of them post regually? how many have over 50 posts? not alot. hang onlomax - 12-23-2003 at 03:43 AM
that is 10 people that have posted over 100. we need like at least 1 in 10 boaders to be posting over 100, not 1 in 200! oh well, are you
'beating' the official board with members?MichelleRene - 12-23-2003 at 06:26 AM
Yeah! I'm #9!!!! Wow, I didn't think I posted that many. Cool................:Plomax - 12-23-2003 at 09:59 AM
i know! i am 6th and i have only bee nposting for a couple of months! i think i can catch neuwave, but seacapation is out of reach!seacaptain - 12-23-2003 at 10:06 AM
I'm watching you, Lomax.

I think post count is inversely proportional to time spent studying, at least for me. There's something about a professional degree program that
creates a need to procrastinate on message boards. Something most of the high-posters can identify with!TurtleEnterprises - 12-23-2003 at 10:32 AM
At least im in the top 2000 :Dbatcave_baby - 12-23-2003 at 01:02 PM
Hmmm, I think when post-judging, the SUBSTANCE of posts, and subsequent replies, should be considered just as much, if not more than the shear
quantity of posts. A post containg relevant information or spurring somewhat in-depth conversation, or at least controversy, is much more valuable
than a post consisting merely of, say a "yeah, I agree" or "LOL", for instance.
In addition to the number of posts being tracked and displayed, Drac & Phobiac, I vote for a Star-Search-esque quality-and-substance rating for
each post. Can that be arranged? If not, I'll just have to dig out those old Star Search tapes for my fix.
Yikes, I just remebered the SNL episode where Phil Hartman is an inebriated Ed McMahon, and I can't stop laughing! I think I'll whhhhip
that out instead.
Have a bitchin' summer,

You are correct Sir! batcave_baby - 12-23-2003 at 03:15 PM
Didn't they end up soiling themselves? Ah, that's the way all shows should end. Alas, this is something; this is nothing.poobs - 12-23-2003 at 04:35 PM
LOL! I agree!! lomax - 12-24-2003 at 03:14 AM
batcave will be eating their words when they desperately need posts to break the top ten! seacaptain-your ratio of posts to months as a boarder is
weak compared to mine, so in a cople of months time, i will be tapping on your shoulder!!! now, is that a post with substance!?!:saint:
