Um.... I read the true version of Frankenstein.... But there is another called Memoirs of a Geisha and my dad is really into Stephen King's
Gunslinger. He read like five of the books in a week. Can you belive him? He said he read the bible in a week. I don't know... He says a lot of
thingies... But whatever book you read I hope you enjoy them enough to cry or laugh if needed. And another good author is the same guy who wrote fight
club. He is kinda morbid. If you like morbid try him. Ciao!envelope - 1-7-2004 at 11:14 AM
I meant another book that has nothing to do with Frankenstein.TurtleEnterprises - 1-7-2004 at 11:17 AM
I read "Memoirs of a Geisha" I couldnt put that book down, it took me less then a week to read it. Good book:Pseacaptain - 1-7-2004 at 12:40 PM
The last book(s) I read (that aren't school-related) were the His Dark Materials trilogy. I liked them a lot, they're pretty entertaining
and well-written.RiffRaff - 1-7-2004 at 02:12 PM
Al Franken's "Lies and the Lying Liars..." was probably the last book I actually finished reading. Now I'm reading "Atheism:
The Case Against God" which has been fascinating so far.Phobiac - 1-7-2004 at 04:03 PM
Renal Pathophysiology. Trust me, it's not going to make a very good movie.MichelleRene - 1-8-2004 at 09:05 AM
Right now (when I have time) I've been reading a book on world religions, which I find quite interesting. Also anything to do with Medieval
history or Wiccan beliefs; although I am not a Wiccan, I find some of their views intriging. Alot of it has to do with karma-and in that I totally
believe.MichelleRene - 1-8-2004 at 09:06 AM

The last book I read was No Logo, I'm in the middle of reading I shithead, a life in punk by Joey "Shithead" Keithleysevenblur - 1-26-2004 at 09:28 PM
well, last book i read was the Che bio by Anderson, i recomend if only if you are truly interested in his life and the Motorcycle diaries by ernesto
guevara, that was great and the movie is coming out soon. You should also take a glance at Amusing Ourselves to Death by Neil Postman, talks about
the decline of our society due to the extreme influence of the media.
Last book i recomend is anything by Irvine Welsh. You have Trainspotting, E, The Acid House, Filth, and Porno which is the second part to
Trainspotting. Anything by him is amazing and you get sucked into it really quickly.
*on trainspotting you have to get used to the language, at the beginning you have to read out loud until you get used to the dialect.
Good luck on your book search

I'm reading that right now. I've been meaning to read it for flippin ever, and finally got around to it.
My favorite book is probably Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs. That's some seriously good shit. His other books are great too.EN - 6-18-2005 at 07:48 AM
Last book I read was "Driving with Shannon" by S.A Robinson, a true story ,set in 1984 ,about two punks from Orono, Maine that just decide
to travel south . It's an awesome book, which I would recommend to everyone. Before that I started reading this book called" Finger Prints
of the Gods", about the possibility of a lost civilization(not Atlantis) and how the pyramids in Mexico and Egypt are related. It's quite
mind blowing.

I still like "A Wrinkle In Time" too. For some strange reason that book reminds me of that song "Down In the Park" or that song
reminds me of that book.avw86 - 6-20-2005 at 01:51 AM
In preparation for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince coming out soon, I've been re-reading the series for the billionth time! Halfway

The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemmingway was the last book I read.
My friend recommended this book, "The Divine Comedy" but I haven't read it yet. From what he's told me, it sounds really good.
Maybe a really good summer read.avw86 - 6-20-2005 at 04:49 PM

The books are for anyone who wants to read them..They're really well-written and have some pretty dark stuff in them..I know a lot of people of

No.minimandy14 - 6-23-2005 at 11:37 AM
Yea they are pretty good and anyway alot more older kids are going to be reading them now anyways becuase when they frist came out I was in the sixth
or fifth grade and all of the kids that liked them then are now seniors (WOO IMA SENIOR!) and are probably going to read them. They actually get more
mature books as Harry Potter gets older which is kinda cool.poobs - 6-23-2005 at 12:49 PM

Checkered past my ass. Why would there be any sexual tension in a
kids movie? I think the people who let that be in a movie has the checkered past.minimandy14 - 6-23-2005 at 05:22 PM
Well they are like thirteen, there is going to be SOME kind of tension there, all those kids are going through puberty.corkey16 - 6-23-2005 at 05:34 PM
I never seen it, are they like dry humping or something? Sorry if that question was a little too much. I see some can't handle my nastyness, but
i'm just being real, you know. No shame in my game.:Dminimandy14 - 6-23-2005 at 05:37 PM
NO THEIR NOT DRY HUMPING! Its a kids movie!corkey16 - 6-23-2005 at 05:43 PM
Then why is there sexual tension? Do you even know what that is?JunoRedneck - 6-23-2005 at 05:51 PM
sexual tension doens't mean there is sex. or else it wouldn't be called sexual tension... it'd just be called sex.minimandy14 - 6-23-2005 at 05:52 PM
There is a difference between sexual tension and dry humping. I think that what she was trying to get across was the point that they both totally
liked eachother.corkey16 - 6-23-2005 at 05:53 PM
ok, are they tongue lashing in the movie?
[Edited on 24-6-2005 by corkey16]minimandy14 - 6-23-2005 at 05:54 PM
No its a kids movie. Again I think it was just her trying to get the point that they obviously liked eachother. jeez why don't you go to a movie
store and rent them so that way you can know what you are talking about?corkey16 - 6-23-2005 at 06:02 PM
Ok, if it's a "kids movie" then there is no such thing as "sexual tension". It's called "puppy-love". Sexual
tension is them trying to rip each others clothes off, but not doing it.minimandy14 - 6-23-2005 at 06:03 PM

yes..That is exactly what they're doing..The whole movie is about dry humping, orgies, bondage, hard core ass-fucking, and kiddie porn..Ok? So
now you know..
