We know what happens when MichelleRene bakes brownies. We'll the brownies aren't the only things to get baked!

Heh...he said, 'Baked'.:D

That reminds me Dave Chappelle's on tonight.

Valentines Day sucks! Oh...oh...oh wait a minute I did get a Power Rangers Valentines card from my nephew.

That reminds me of Valentines Day in elementary. Didn't that suck? It's totally a holiday for grown-ups, but there was no way to avoid it contaminating the kids, so they had to make it all fluffy. So now I get it. The teachers made it so you had to give everyone a card, because if it was just freedom of choice, Buffy, and Chet would have all the valentines, and poor Ethyll, and Eggbert would be left sobbing in the back. Ohhh...the harsh realities/side affects of capitalism.

Can you smell the V.D. in the club tonight?

(I still wish Beck had the nerve to use that as the title for Midnite Vultures....)

I went to dinner with two girls at once tonight, though unfortunately it wasn't as studly as that may sound.

*sigh*

Friends, only. One of them I'm kinda head-over-heels over, but she has shot me down and we're just tight friends. The other is a friend, like a sister. I had to listen to the two of them complain about men all night long...

Nice to hear somebody else goes through that too. Whatever you do don't reveal your feelings, or else you'll never get to hang, and let other people THINK you're with them again. Well, that's just been my experience.:D

Actually, she knows I feel that way. We still hang out and study together and are cool. We have kind of become better friends since I told her my feelings and she shot me down, strangely enough.

Sometimes I feel like I'm over her, but sometimes I'm still smitten... even though she's made it pretty clear I have no shot...

MichelleRene - 2-16-2004 at 08:11 AM

That sucks. But it does remind me of something:

When I lived with my girlfriend Karrie back in 1998, above our condo was a guy named Andy. Such a nice guy, our age, cute, blonde and fun to hang with. Karrie and I would do our girls night out every Friday night when we were single. Andy would come with us----he was like hangin' with one of the girls, but he's totally straight. We'd get on the dance floor and boogie...well it made other guys so jealous because he was dancin' with 2 blond mommas....and alot of guys would come up, bang into him on purpose because they were jealous. So, Karrie & I would intervene and say "We're both with Andy". And what a man he was in bed...(joking of course, he was like our brother). That would really freak out the guys and make them more mad! We use to have so much fun going out with him. He loved gettin' all the attention, hanging with 2 girls and all.

Well, Andy always had crushes on Karrie and I. He and I would go out together once in a while by ourselves to various rock shows, he thought they were dates. And I really liked him, just not in a sexual way....even though I tried to like him in that way---it just didn't happen. I ended up dating some little punk guy with a mohawk for 3 months. (He was sexy and dangerous and Andy was too normal for me). He, Karrie and I would still go out every Friday and have a blast. I think he was always totally into Karrie. But one night she went out with her friend Lisa and met her future husband. They got married a couple of years later.

Don't give up hope, because her husband is an ass, and Karrie still talks to Andy. So, there is hope. But it's weird, sometimes when you become friends with girls, you're too comfortable and safe to them. Some women like crazy, wild types like myself. They want a challenge in a sense. Just like many men do....if it's right in front of you, sometimes you don't see it, or want it. But, if you keep out of range a little bit, sometimes it gets their interest. Since you're friends with them already, it's going to be hard to move to the next level. They may look to you as a brother. Unfortunately, it sometimes happens.........if you go out with another girl, it'll probably make them jealous.

Aww..Brandon..Why didn't you just tell me you feel this way about me..;)

I kinda had the same situation..I was in love with this guy in high school and we used to hang out ALL the time partying and stuff...Then I hooked up with my baby's daddy (please take that as a joke) and started to resent the friendship that those two had..Basically, I learned to hate him until my baby daddy and I broke up..I started contacting him again and we became awesome friends..
We were on the phone one day and he was talking about how long it had been since he'd gotten laid and he was joking that he was just going to go to some random bar and pick some chick up..So I told him that I would hope he would consider me before doing something so gross..He was totally surprised..I didn't tell him how strong my feelings were towards him, but just that I thought he was really attractive and that I'd had those thoughts before..He was just shocked and we left it at that..

So one night, the two of us and our other friend went out for a b-day celebration..All of our b-days were within days of each other..We went out to this awesome Italian place, drank chianti, grabbed some more alcohol, and drank ourselves silly at his friend's place..We decided that I shouldn't drive him all the way home since my house was only a few blocks away..Well, the rest is history..We hooked up that night and he walked me to work the next day and we remained friends..He was a little wierded out by it, but I never let it interfere with the love I had for him as a friend..He knew he could still talk to me about chicks and I wasn't going to freak out..

I moved away and we actually haven't talked for a bit..I miss him..I still hold on to the fact that we'll be together..Someday..Ho hum..
:(

So I guess the point to that story, besides bragging about an incredible night of sex, is to always be a friend first..Keep that other stuff there, but never let it interfere with your friendship..Who knows? Maybe you'll have a drunken night of debauchery, too!:D:D:D:D

oh, why is this one fading??? I love this thread. I like how everyone is telling their love stories. I think that is cool.

TurtleEnterprises - 2-20-2004 at 02:29 PM

there should be a thread for the worse love stories haha so we can compare ours to others and feel better....
