It's blustery outside..

poobs - 2-16-2004 at 04:37 PM

My word for the day is blustery because it's windy and rainy..Thought I'd share..:D

Neuwave - 2-16-2004 at 04:56 PM

Dang! Why do these topics always coincide with my life. You guys sure we aren't genetically engineered, and living paralleled lives?:)
I went grocery shopping for the week yesterday, and was looking for some tasty snacks for the office, and ran into these new Kellogg protein bars, and decided to read the box. So as I'm reading(with the munchies of course :D ). I had to keep from bustin up out loud, because the box described them as some fudge bar with "chocolatey" sauce, and in my head that word sounded so funny. CHOCOLATEY!
Anyway, I may have been a lil toasty at the time, but it was funny as hell last night.:) I like your word poobage. It rhymes with mine. I say we all have a chocolatey treat on this blustery day.:D

RoboticTerrorSTD - 2-16-2004 at 05:09 PM

can we all get toasty? :wow:;)

TurtleEnterprises - 2-16-2004 at 05:10 PM

Well we have this big shot asshole who wants the whole office at a certain temperature so were all freezing our asses off. So today is a very benumbed, biting, bitter, blasting, bleak, boreal, brisk, brumal, chill, day at the office (thanks thesaurus.com)

RoboticTerrorSTD - 2-16-2004 at 05:13 PM

ha haa

My word(s) for the day is "Little Dinkies".....it's a word my friend Karen uses for those little breakfast sausage links....well, I thought it was funny....:no::yes::no::D

One time I let a guy read a story I wrote and one of the sentences said, " I hung up with ___" and he thought that it was weird that I said with. Is that incorrect? He said, "what did you hang up the same time?" and he was laughing at me. Is that wrong? My word is goarmy, it means like ranchy or gross or something like that. It may be an actual word....

Hahaaa! Little Dinkies? I would think of some other kind of sausage for that..Hardy harr harr harr..;)

Goarmy? Are you sure you're not saying Go Army??;) People up here say Hella before EVERYTHING!!! I don't get it! "Oh..It's hellacold today". "I'm hellatired" "I'm hellalame.."

TurtleEnterprises - 2-17-2004 at 12:25 PM

when i was 14 i went to vegas and i met some guys over there that would add "that's tight" to everything. I thought it was the funniest thing i ever heard. Anyways these guys were from Sacramento or as they referred to it as "Sac Town".... they said all the cool werds come from sac town, a few months later i started hearing more people in LA say it haha ....

Noisemonster - 2-17-2004 at 02:21 PM

ha! finally a thread about strange words! :D

When I came to Frankfurt from northern Germany, I also brought a lot of words with me.
 I don't know if you think it's funny, but for example, when I'm horny, I say I'm 'sprill'.
Or cigarettes. I call them 'fluppes'.

hehe! these words even seem to fit into English!

...and Turtle, even some Germans say 'Wow, das ist tight!'

envelope - 2-17-2004 at 05:06 PM

No.. goarmy means ranchy it is a word I saw in a book once and thought it was quite clever so I adopted it. I know a guy who would say, " thats lettuce" like that's the shit. Oh, I say ish instead of shit. So don't say ish to me. or she was talking ish. It was weird because I told my old psycologist (can't spell) that word in a sentence and I stumped him because he had never heard that word ever in his life. I felt weird saying the word shit to him. I felt it was disrespectful so I say ish in those cases.

sevenblur - 2-17-2004 at 08:09 PM

Yo...I like "sprill", I know what word I will be using from now on. I was using "wicked" for a while cause I was friends with this guy from Boston that used it all the time and it stuck, but I have a mouth like a sailor and always say "fuck" in front of every noun or verb....but that is just me, and I used to work with 3rd graders so my potty mouth tended to slip in front ot them. Let me leave now cause i'm sprill :D:D:D
Peace cats

That's funny! Did he get one of those Extreme Makeovers?

That's pretty bad for a man to be so vain about his appearance....but, then again, look at Michael Jackson: I was watching that show again on VH1 about the kid who's charging him with child molestation, and he just grosses me out so bad I got a sick feeling in my stomach. He's so creepy and repulsive...you can see right through him, he's lying. He doesn't look into the camera when asked certain things, 2 nose jobs and no other plastic surgery....Come on. I hope karma plays a role in his future! He needs to be put in a padded room with no makeup! Then he can dissintigrate into a pile of pooo!!

poobs - 2-18-2004 at 08:30 AM

Man..I just don't know! He seems so out of it that I wonder if he even knows the difference between right and wrong! Eh..I guess that's stupid to say..There's a part of me that just thinks that he's innocent and just likes to let his inner child out and hang with these kids..Then the adult side of me slaps me in the face and calls me an idiot..:(

We were watching that Martin Bashir thing and I told Brody that all of those rides were in his backyard and he was literally speechless for a good 30 seconds, which is a lot for my little spaz..

TurtleEnterprises - 2-18-2004 at 09:22 AM

I think your bored, j/k. Most of the time I'll just come on and read things and not post because I feel out of your circle. It seems you all know each other. And you talk about things on T.V. and I don't have T.V. I get my info from other peeps and the internet. But I am not a hermit. Well, I would like to post but... well I am now aren't I? I love you... It is supposed to be "blustery" through the weekend in cali.

TurtleEnterprises - 2-19-2004 at 12:58 PM

wow, envelope for some reason you remind me of my lilest sister who is also like my bestest friends she only 15:)

envelope - 2-19-2004 at 01:05 PM

it is kinda sad that I remind you of a 15 year old. :( I am 18 which isn't really that different. Weeeuuu... weeeuuu weeeuuu.... (from kung pao) Does she not watch the tube? I wonder if I would watch T.V. if we had reception?

MichelleRene - 2-19-2004 at 01:13 PM

Wow, no mind vacuum? At night when I need to chill out, I can't imagine not having a TV.....I guess I'm lame like that..

And as far as being out of the circle...no way! Everyone here has lotsa stuff in common to talk about. I'm from
Maryland, I didn't know anyone on here. Then I just started posting hoping that people would reply.....and they did. Just post what you feel at the moment, that's what I think we all do. Be spontaneous...start a topic, and I'm sure people will reply...:D:D

RoboticTerrorSTD - 2-20-2004 at 01:01 PM

I was getting ready to leave to go take my written test @ the dmv and go to a record store to see if they got the Alive EP but the weather is horri-bib-el.

DJAtticDragon - 2-20-2004 at 01:11 PM

Yeah, I guess you can say I'm starting to feel at home here. There's this other forum that I hang out in.

But the whole point of me going to this forum was to introduce my remix for 12=3 but no one has really helped me out yet to get it set up on this site. Phobiac was going to help, I sent him a couple of emails, no reply.

And that Ima Robot is ight.

Peace andIloveyoutoogirl,andyouknowwhoI'mtalkinabout...

MichelleRene - 2-20-2004 at 01:50 PM
