After they finish their tour opening for Linkin Park and P.O.D. on March 6, H****stank will head back out to headline this year's MTV Campus Invasion Tour.

The trek launches March 19 at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and runs through April 24 at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Lostprophets and Ima Robot will open all dates.

H****stank will be touring to support their sophomore album, The Reason, which came out December 9. A video for their current single, "The Reason," was shot earlier this month by Brett Simon. Lostprophets, whose single "Last Train Home" continues to climb rock radio charts, are supporting their second disc, Start Something, which was released February 3. And Ima Robot will be touring behind their self-titled debut, which hit shelves September 16.

MTV's Choose or Lose 2004 campaign will be traveling with the Campus Invasion Tour, registering voters and offering literature aimed to raise political awareness.

Let me explain the joke.
The questions is posed: "who likes hoobstank?"

The reply: "a question like that will shut the board down."

The humor is that 1) nobody would ever post admitting that they like H****stank! 2) No posting relates into a pretty dead 3) A dead board is esentially shutdown. 4) Hence the reply "a question like that will shut the board down."

You may love H****stank; i don't, and then this would not apply to you.

Still, the board isn't being shut down.

IMA Robot is scheduled to appear as part of the MTV Campus Invasion Tour ‘04, beginning on Friday, March 19 at the University of Tennessee.

The annual tour will include 20 stops, primarily in the Midwest and East Coast. “We always have one goal in mind when putting Campus Invasion together, and that’s to give students a one-of-a-kind live show by taking MTV out of the studio and putting it right on their campus,” said Joe Armenia, VP of Music Marketing and Promotions for MTV & MTV2 in a press release.

IMA Robot will be joined by H****stank and Lostprophets along with the political organizations Choose or Lose and Rock the Vote whose primary focus is to educate and register young voters in hopes of increasing voter turnout in major elections.

IMA Robot will also be appearing and performing on NBC’s Last Call With Carson Daily Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 1:35 AM EST and PST.

Oh MAN!!!! The March 6 date is actually at my UNIVERSITY...I GOT TO FIU (Florida International University), and it will be two weeks before I graduate with my BA!!! I am so excited...lets just hope they dont cancel...i am not to sure about HOOBASTINK (hehehe), but the lead singer in kind of cute, but that doesnt make up for the fact that their music is not my style (that is the biggest euphemism I have ever said, i really mean they suck). I cant believe it I might be able to see them, but ALL THE FRAT boys are going to be there to see HOOBA...all wearing the greek letter shirt...oh well, I will sacrifice being surrounded by those twats just to see IMAR...

Another thing I found out was that the tixs were going to be like $5 for FIU students...I am inviting all my friends to have a taste of IMAR...and I will wear Michelle's specially made tie to the show...COOL!!!!!!
If anyone is in Miami and wants to see IMAR just let me know and I will buy you the tix and you can pay me back or whatever...
