Hi Everybody,

Just want to say what's up. Last night was quite an experience at the El Rey! Where did all those kids come from? And the pit? Crowdsurfing? I found myself standing there playing my bass, thinking about how absurd the situation was: me, dressed in an afro, eyeliner, vest and tie, playing to some goateed dudes slamming to Philosophophee. Wow! Surreal, to say the least. But I read all your postings so far, and while I agree that crowdsurfing is somewhat annoying (Poobs, I saw you get kind of bummed when a girl's foot nearly met with your head), the reality is that the majority of people that were there were IMAR hardcore, which are a more civilized, music-oriented bunch, as we all know.

And for that, I say: THANK YOU . NETTERS! You make our world go 'round. Every time I see your faces, I am ecstatic. Truly.

I want to apologize to any of you that were there, because I wanted to get more time to chill with all 'yall, Neuwave, Marvin, Phobiac, Draconian, Poobs, etc. etc. I mean, Lara for instance: we just said hi and I got totally swamped in business, which I felt bad about, considering the fact that I heard you made quite a trek for this event, and I barely got to visit...with barely anyone for that matter! Anyway, two things were going on: Firstly, the staff of 103.1 were there, and super down with our shit, so we just had to chill with them, because as you all know, no station (barring maybe KCRW) gives us as much love. The other thing that was going on was that my flu and mild laryngitis has been getting the better of me, and I just couldn't get myself to run after people continuously as the silly security people were briskly herding everyone outside. I think I'm a little better today, though quite low-energy.

I truly regret not makin' the show now. We had 4 tickets, and ended up helping a bud move some racing equipment, but I was there in spirit, and man looks like I missed one of the greatest. Hope Poobs is OK.:) Great to hear Justins' perspective.:cool:

Sounds like a kick ass show, I didnt see you guys when you were in Vancouver last week(not 19 YET, only 6 more months), man was I bummed... I think its awesome how you guys interact with your fans so much.

yeah, there was a different element there, but they were all there to have a good time. I've seen so many a mosh-pit turn ugly; this one was filled with goodness. There was this little asian girl in front of me who was about 5'2" tall and totally mosh'in it out, crazy little girl!! :D

yeah JMJ, I went to shake your hand and you got swamped by 103.1 and potential 103.1 people; I got pushed the other way. I do think Lara got her hug and she was pretty stoked about that.

You know she comes back to LA to see you guys and I'm just second fiddle!!! Damn Ima Robot!!! :lol:

Yo, we hope that you get better soon cause let me tell you the show in Miami at FIU is going to be filled with the goatee guys slamming, and the Frat boys surfing. Also, its hot as hell down here and its going to get hotter in April, so come preparred for the humidity and the hot chicks in South Beach, which I am sure guys will enjoy (they are pretty easy).

Hey Justin, I know you guys already know but man you guys put on a great show! When you guys played The Beat Goes on I was like omg omg omg I love this song. My favorite indeed! oh yea and thanks for showing us some love on the boards:)

i wish i could've made it to that show, but alas, i'm stuck up here in northern california earnestly waiting for the return of ima robot :-) please tell me there will be more shows here before the warped tour...

:lol: Yeah..It was a bit annoying, but you can't get mad at someone for having a good time, eh? I still had an amazing time! It was well worth the trip and I'm stoked to see you guys next time around! And, dude, don't stress about not being able to hang..I think we all agree that we'd rather see you healthy than speak to you for a few moments..You know we love you guys and that's all that matters!! :D

Ha, don't worry about it Justin. The fact that you guys are so busy these days is what we all want to see anyway! I am going to start carrying around my JMJ Hug Punchcard, though, I hear after 10 hugs you get a free latte.

We heard Dyno on 103.1 on the way over--even though it's great kroq is getting enthusiastic, you've gotta love kcrw and 103.1 for getting it so fast. Looking forward to hearing I'm Your Bitch on Star 98.7! Let's get on those request lines, people!
