I've gone every year, but I'm sitting this one out..I'm bummed about missing some of the bands, but there are a lot of factors keeping me away..

Yeah it kills me that I can't go but I have to study for my med board exams something awful.

Would have liked to see the Pixies.

I wish he were playing First Ave. instead of the megavenue Xcel Center, but I probably wouldn't have been able to get tickets to that one.

I'm going! Just to the Sunday show, though. I'm so excited! :D I've never been to anything like this before. I think it's going to be an amazing adventure with an even more amazing 'soundtrack' ;)

My friend and I are leaving Saturday morning, staying with my dad that night, going to Coachella on Sunday, going back to my dad's that night, and then coming back up on Monday. I was going to miss an AP exam for it, but I decided not to take the test after all. :lol:

Ohhh, I had convinced myself I'd be able to go to Coachella even though I totally can't afford it. But reality has now caught up with me, the first day is sold out, it doesn't look like The Streets are playing anymore, etc. So no go. On a side-note, I saw Moving Units on Saturday (they were fabulous, of course) and International Noise Conspiracy was on after them. I just have to say...what a fucking joke! Hideous, pretentious, formula-band. Yuck.

SO GET THIS LOAD OF SHIT!!! Last year, this guy I worked with told me that he's friends with one of the guys that runs Coachella..He said he weaseled a ticket out of the guy for me..So when I go to will-call, it's not there...Turns out, someone screwed up..The guy felt really bad, as did my co-worker..Said he'd make it up to me..So I got a call from my brother yesterday saying he got staff wrist-bands for both days!! Did my brother offer me a wrist-band since I was so horribly screwed last year? Nope..He's taking his stupid girlfriend..He wasn't even going to go! He's NEVER gone!! I've gone every stinking year and I just flat out couldnt afford it this time..The only reason he got the wrist-bands (I assume that means he can go backstage) was because the guy felt so bad for what he did the year before!! I don't think I've ever been so pissed off at my brother..:ticking::ticking::ticking::ticking::ticking::ticking::ticking::ticking:

What a weekend! I went to Sunday's show. So freakin' awesome! I saw !!!, Muse, The Cooper Temple Clause, BRMC, and The Cure. The Cure...so amazing. They sounded so great. Robert Smith is the best :) We met Robert from BRMC while watching Muse! He was just in the audience with a friend, and we asked if he would mind taking a picture with us...:) Had to endure some pain for pleasure, though. We got there at 9 am, and waited in line for 2 hours before doors opened. Since it's in the middle of the desert, it was horribly hot. Before the doors opened, I started feeling like I was going to faint. The first thing we did when we got in was getting water and going to the first aid tent. What a way to start the day...Even though I was drinking a ton of water and gatorade, I still got dehydrated and as a result, got those horrible cramps in my calve muscles a few times. :( At least I didn't get sunburned :P

I think I have the hots for a 40 something year old goth man now. :o:lol:

Too tired to write about more details. If anyone wants to know anything specific, just ask. :) Who else went? How did you like it?
