Von Bondies tour info, etc.

Hi .Net Posse!

Greetings from Minnesota. Just wanted to clarify the tour dates, since there seem to be a lot of questions about what's really going on.

The deal is, we are missing the first few dates of the Von Bondies tour, and likewise missing the last few dates of our MTV Campus Invasion Tour obligation. Here's the deal:

The last date of Campus Invasion is Norfolk, VA. We fly to the UK the next day, then the first date of the Von Bondies tour is actually Manchester (the .com site lists Glasgow, which is incorrect). From there on, the .com site is correct.

Thanks to all that have come out to support us at these MTV shows, occasionally in the face of adversity and vociferous closed-mindedness (such as Purdue, for instance). Seeing the few of you out there who represent has been a truly vital energizer. Don't get me wrong: it's never fun to be yelled at, booed, cursed, hit by objects, and flipped off. But ultimately, you can't blame these people for not being down with our music, they just react against what they don't understand. We don't claim to have some sort of universal appeal. I just need to convey that overall, these shows have been a good litmus test for us, and we've enjoyed greatly the process of making some new fans most every day.

All the best and much love,
JMJ

Thanks for clearing it all up, Justin! My Warped Tour tix for San Fran are in my hot little hands and I'm counting down the days until July 3rd! Hang in there..We know you guys can handle these not-so-welcoming crowds..:D

Thanks JMJ--our tour page has been updated to reflect your changes.

And good to hear you guys have such a positive attitude about the ignorance out there.

If you're tooling around Mpls, make sure you check out Let It Be Records on Nicollet Mall downtown--a decent collection of hard-to-find vinyls, appropriately overpriced.

Wait a minute, I thought all those Honky-Tonk bars had cages around the performers?

Well, If there's anyone who is the ultimate good will ambassador, it would be Justin. Oh man, now I'm getting visions of Justin doing his signature bass groovin' moves dodgin' beer bottles.

"YEE-HAAWW!! Let's see if you can hit the one with the Afro, or better yet the pretty one!".

Keep on Truckin' Boyz!!
