Did anyone get to check out this movie over the weekend? I seen it on saturday and it was just OKAY i liked the first one better, my favorite part
though..*spoiler to follow*...was that they killed his chick right away, i would have hated the movie if they turned it in a big love story. poobs - 7-26-2004 at 10:15 AM
I never saw the first one, but it looked good! We have it in our queue on Netflix..inlimbo - 7-26-2004 at 02:49 PM
hahaha well i'm probably gonna see it tonight. i saw the first one, it was ok. the books are SO much better. i had read the books before the
first one came out an the movie confused me to no end. it's very different.TurtleEnterprises - 7-26-2004 at 03:15 PM

I lost all respect for this movie when in the first one Matt Damon is supposed to be hanging on to the ledge of the building but it's his stunt
double. THE CRAPPIEST excuse for a stunt double the guy had like red curly hair and uh Matt Damon has brown straight hair......oh man that scene did it for me. I couldn't take the rest of the movie seriously :P
Poobs watch for it.MichelleRene - 7-27-2004 at 11:14 AM
the critics keep giving it all these great reviews....figures....:wow:TurtleEnterprises - 7-27-2004 at 11:18 AM
Critics always give the shittiest movies the best reviews.Neuwave - 7-27-2004 at 02:36 PM
Dang! I haven't seen any of them, but I'm dying to. I've always had this secret obsession with being a international spy, or whatever.
That would be so cool, but I'm sure I'd be killed by the first assasin to come my way.
I dig Robert Ludlum books. I've read The Bourne Identity, and have been in the process of reading The Icarus Agenda right now, but that's
only when I was taking the Metrolink for a while. That's when I really get into the fantasy, because I'm reading about all this Top Secret
espionage n stuff, and I'm on a train with all these strangers imagining they're spys n stuff. Yeah, I'm a big kid still playing cops n robbers on trains. Major Tard.:DTurtleEnterprises - 7-27-2004 at 03:26 PM
aww thats cute Neuwave... Your a cute tard ....inlimbo - 7-28-2004 at 09:22 AM
i liked it! it's getting good reviews because it works as an action movie, the director did a great job. i'm not big into action films but
since the books were so good, i have to see these movies :saint: the movie took the main idea from the books, but the storyline is completely
different. which is what the director said he wanted to do, and i think he pulled it off.
in the books, the guy is a lot older, in fact he fought in vietnam, so this whole "make the lovers younger" thing was of course hollywood.
so i'm glad they killed her off, i didn't like her as an
actress. in the book, i believe the woman was some kind of government agent from canada. not quite the young gypsy with no background they put in
the movie.
It was good
