a praise on slipons. i own two pair ...checkerboard with cherries and pink/white skull cross bones ones and now i read you can have `em customized like you send in a pattern and they produce it. gee, which ones should i have made ? they´re like my favourites shoes ever. so damn comfy.

hey, did you know that VANS have been around since 1966? Wow.

man, it's hard to find them on there in my size...damnit! Hey Pretty...I saw the ones you posted on Ebay for $20-$25...that's a pretty good deal.....I still can't find any in my size that aren't hideous....can't find skulls in my size..... :no:

Yeah I had them in high school and in like 10th grade stopped wearing them because everyone skated, and they all had those shoes...
So then I wore cons chucks
And now even more people wear them.
I feel stupid with mine, but I've worn those kinds of shoes for like 7 years, it's hard to part with them, even if it annoys me that everyone wears them.

But I have bright yellow ones, and bright blue ones with IMA Robot stickers on them (please see autumns stupid picture thread)
So mine are the best :lol:

Design your own Vans? What is this madness?!? TOO COOL! I really like the Vans slip-ons but I never found a pattern I could really get into. I don't like checks much and cherries aren't that good, skulls are for gothic kids who are mad at their dads (jay kay, but I still don't really like shiz)... gee, it´s happened. i got hold of another pair of slip-ons, my third pair. furry ones with leopard print. i´m so addicted to slip-ons, it´s scary. i just feel so ultimately me when sporting them. and we might do a little co-op with VANS so maybe i can ever get another pair...
