stranded

envelope - 10-10-2004 at 03:46 PM

I hope this is not too long....
This is a journal entry for January 17th 2004. If you don't want to read it let it sink to the bottom.
You won't belive what happened... Okay, Jason didn't come, call, or anything but I had a blast at the show (Ima Robot). It was so awesome. I don't know where to start... Sara and I had bought our tickets way in advance. Her boyfriend, Andrew wasn't going to go. Last minute he changed his mind. Well, we were trying to drive to Aaron's records but I couldn't find my directions and I took the wrong freeway. My tank was coming on empty. I didn't know where we were. The show started at eight. we got there at 9.30 and I thought we missed it. got Andytron (andrew) his ticket and blah blah blah...
I went back to my car and shoved my purse and cell phone under my seat. We peed and then shoved our way to the front. WHo doesn't? We found out we didn't miss them. Oh man, when the bots csame on I just about melted. My friend kept flirting with this guy I fancied/thought was cute and her boyfriend was pissed. I was kinda mad too but oh well. I just pushed her away and took my spot back. It is so cool; you could touch people and they don't even turn around and give you a dirty look or anything.:saint: I love it.
SO the show was over and Andrew says, "Is your car there?" It wasn't... my phone, my money, my never before used credit card, My checks... all in the car.
Luckily andytron had his cell. I called my dad (midnight) he said," I am not going to risk driving up there and going to jail (does not have license) just to pick you up" what a great father. I thought they are supposed to risk thier lives for their children. Here I am stranded in LA with no car, no money, and not a clue as to where I am, and not in a very safe looking neighborhood. The one person I know in LA is at my house in Fullerton and does not care enough. I found out my car was towed and it will cost 200 dollars to get it out by 4am and now it was 1am.

Sorry, I can't finish it right now but I felt I should post it to get it out.

envelope - 10-10-2004 at 03:57 PM

I wasn't freaking out. I just went into rude bitch mode where I am momotone and very sarcastic. I saw Alex walk out. He looked at us and then walked in the other direction. I said, "hey, thats Alex Ebert (they don't know much about the IMRS), lets talk to him." Andytron and his jelous self didn't want to. Alex stopped and was digging through his bag for something. I made them come with me. "Can you help us?" Then I spilled out our story. He got on his cell phone and started making calls to help us. His girlfriend came and totally disregarded us and said, "Alex, I want to go home". So I didn't like her. THen Sara said, " hey thats cool" and pointed to her blinking necklace. "You want it?" she said with her cute accent. She took it off and put it around Sara's neck. Now I liked her

envelope - 10-10-2004 at 04:09 PM

Then they both walked away and I thought that was mean. "Oh I can't help you BYE!" But then Alex came back and put 20 bucks in a box I was holding and said that would pay for a cab or a greyhound (bus). Then he told some guy our situation . The guy called a cab place and gave him my name and went back into the club. He came out twenty minutes later and saw that we were still there. "Fuck it!" he said "get into my car!" He said he was going to drive us there. I sat in the frint next to him. I think his name was Mike Barsmith or something like that.... I don't know. "We'll take a ride if you don't murder us" I said.
"OH, I won't do that and if I do you can say the manager of Ima Robot killed you!"
"But, I'll be dead"
"I'll let one of you live to tell the story"
Well we got in and he drove us there. He stoppedright in front of the tow place. He said, "Hey, you guys want a new Album?" I looked and it was the same one that I had but we said sure anyway and each took one. We got out and thanked him and told him he was awesome. We got out. Mike left. I got my stuff from my car and we walked to cici bank. I pretended to talk on my cell phone because there were some scary looking people around there. We freaked out after Mike left because we didn't want to seem like stupid fans you know? The tow guy flirt with me and gave me a free oil change (weird people....). We got home around four after we got gas and andrew thought he would mimic that movie zoolander or however spell it and get gas all over sara.
THE END

haha, rad story. Something like that happened to me once, friends car boke down, stuck in hick town all day. Its not as interesting as your story, haha.

draconian - 10-10-2004 at 06:54 PM

What is up with the extreme radosity of Ima Robot and their minions? I bet David Lee Roth wouldn't have given you 20 bucks and no WAY was Brian Epstein driving you to the impound lot.

JunoRedneck - 10-10-2004 at 07:31 PM

That is a mighty cool story. And it was one day before my birthday. Or the journal entry was one day before my birthday. I dunno, I'm confused. Still, awesome story.

envelope - 10-10-2004 at 07:37 PM

Thank you... I am just glad you actually read it. I thought it was so long that people would pass it up. Alex gave me the 20. I don't really remember the guy who drove us there but he said he was the manager guy.

JunoRedneck - 10-10-2004 at 07:40 PM

Alex gave me $20 once. Gave, I stole it, what's the difference? The point is I got $20.

envelope - 10-10-2004 at 09:19 PM

Did you spend it? ( I just really want to write anything right now) I am burning for conversation.

EvilMotivator - 10-10-2004 at 09:33 PM

Juno lies.

envelope - 10-10-2004 at 09:38 PM

I know juno didn't really steal it... I justthought I would play along being that I really want to write anything right now. I don't normally write so much,

My favorite part is "I sit and wonder why-y-y" The why-y-y makes the song.

poobs - 10-11-2004 at 04:40 PM

Oh fully..

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 04:42 PM

I'm glad you understand

poobs - 10-11-2004 at 04:52 PM

Dude..I was OBSESSED with that movie for years!! I must have seen it millions of times..I don't think I'm the only one..:P:lol::lol:

My favorite song is that one "There Are Worse Things I Could Do" or something by Rizzo..Before I got the soundtrack, I would sit and rewind that part over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and..Well, you get the point..:D

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 05:06 PM

I've seen it a million times as well. Rizzo was my favorite. I used to watch it when I was little and I didn't realize how dirty it was. Then I watched it when I was older and got all those dirty jokes I didn't understand when I was kid. Good movie.

EvilMotivator - 10-11-2004 at 05:22 PM

I love that movie. I used to be obsessed with John Travolta. I thought he was so hot. Not so much now, though...

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 05:45 PM

poobs - 10-11-2004 at 05:47 PM

He has a butt-chin..:)

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 05:52 PM

i know!! ultimate butt-chin. besides this one teacher i had... Evil, you remember him, right?

poobs - 10-11-2004 at 05:53 PM

I had a teacher who had a butt-chin, too..His name was Mr. Dupont and all the girls wanted him..He used to be a "Gladiator" at Caeser's Palace..:wow:

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 05:56 PM

Haha, a lot of girls wanted this teacher too. Evil had the hots for him real bad. It makes me laugh.

poobs - 10-11-2004 at 06:00 PM

We used to try to figure out if he wore boxers or briefs..Could that ass be so tight and bubble-like without the help of tighty whities?? :wow:

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 06:05 PM

Haha, I never promoted her crush. I thought he looked like a hobbit. He was one of my favorite teachers though. I think girls liked him because he was young and listened to Modest Mouse and stuff. I have no idea why Evil like him though...

EvilMotivator - 10-11-2004 at 06:06 PM

I have a weird thing for guys with butt chins. It's not like I look for them, just that a lot of guys I think are hot have them. And that teacher thing wasn't that bad... He was only 24. And mighty hot.

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 06:07 PM

And what's your excuse for Mr. Rubino?

EvilMotivator - 10-11-2004 at 06:15 PM

Ah crap. I don't have one. But hey, he's only 23. And you can't deny that he's flippin' hilarious. And quite nice looking...

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 06:17 PM

ok, new subject...

JunoRedneck - 10-11-2004 at 06:17 PM

Hey Evil, Alina is Russian, right? Is that how you spell her name?

EvilMotivator - 10-11-2004 at 06:35 PM

Yes and yes.

poobs - 10-11-2004 at 07:56 PM

Young teachers were always so awesome..I would have LOVED a young teacher that looked like a hobbit!! :D
