I'm off to New York in 3 weeks from today.
So far i've only got 2 Futureheads gigs to go to.One at The Canal Room and one in New Jersey at Maxwells.. I was gonna go see the B52's but they cancelled

If anybody can recommend anything in or near the Manhatten area let me know..

How long will you be there? Hives at Webster Hall like the 18th of November or thenabouts.

I would check out melodynelson.com or one of the other NYC blogger sites for updates on what's happening--they post a lot of info about secret shows and the like.

Seriously, it's all about San Francisco. I would say it's all about Santa Cruz, but nothing ever happens here. Unless you like hippies and um... the Boardwalk? Anyway, San Francisco is the shit.

Yes, when you're born in Santa Cruz, you become an instant Lost Boys fan. But the Boardwalk is so much cooler in the movie. No motorcycle races, no crazy comic book shops, and no concerts of greasy buffed out saxophone players wearing tight purple pants. Man, that guy was cool.
