"Real Time" photos from Mars

When I was searching for patterns for my tattoo. I saw this pic, and posted it in DJ Neuwave, then as days went by I saw that the moon had actually moved, then I fucking noticed it's a "Real Time" satellite link from Mars(I guess it updates periodically. Bad Ass!! THE MOON MOVES!!!

Lessons from the hood 101:

Dry snitching is a term used in the hood for those trying to bring attention to something someone may be doing that is perceived wrong (in this case putting up GIGANTIC pictures when we were told by the administration not to, but in this case it is a link, so I think it is ok). It is a term used lightly in fun amongst the natives.

My friend Dante used to always call me a "Dry Snitcher". It is one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

I know!! I think about my language when I type, because I really talk like that. I know the whole "Imateurity" aspect of using vulgar language, but that's the way I talk. I can't help it. I dunno. I'm just amazed completely. Maybe I'm just a dork, but these pictures are coming from 387.3 million kilometers away, and we're so lucky to witness technology like this, and I'm pretty sure there's a big portion of the population that doesn't even know about it.

Fresh off of a great Lunar performance last night @ the World Series. She's coming round the bend again. I guess I'll be calling play by play moves of the moon from now on forever. Until the end of time. Until I die.

There's a fellow music fan here, who, when I first met her, told me she's an astrobiologist getting her PhD at A.S.U. I thought, "Wow, how obscure is that? What will she ever do with that degree?" Next thing I know, she's on all the local news shows talking about the Mars lander, because she's on the team doing one of the major experiments on Mars. She's actually gone to JPL in Pasadena a few times to man the controls on the lander, getting data directly from Mars. She's always got the inside scoop on what's happening on Mars. (I think she's gonna start booking gigs there soon. ) I couldn't believe how excited she was about the whole thing! But then, it is pretty cool!

This is so cool. This is the first time i've ever looked at this thread. Dayum look what i've been missing out on. I'm gonna stare at this all nite, kay maybe not all night. But thanks Neu for the discovery
