Dressing UP

TurtleEnterprises - 10-14-2004 at 07:55 PM

Anyone dressing up for Halloween this year? I seen a really cute Turtle Costume but its like almost 700 bucks.
Plus i'm on a super budget. I think i'll just through a sheet over myself and be a ghost.

FlowerDancerL - 10-14-2004 at 08:45 PM

One night is not worth spending $700 for a costume - but what is it? - may be you could make a "reasonable facsimile" of the Turtle costume.

EvilMotivator - 10-14-2004 at 09:00 PM

I'm being Batman. It's gonna be awesome.

Seb - 10-14-2004 at 10:31 PM

I cant stand halloween. I will probably end up going to a friends house for a party, get wasted and eat candy.

prettyvacant - 10-14-2004 at 11:33 PM

I love halloween, but i'll probably be doing the same as seb!! :D:D

poobs - 10-15-2004 at 01:00 AM

I love Halloween! I'm not sure if I'm dressing up yet, but Brody wants to be Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh..:( Lame..We don't buy costumes, so we've had to go to thrift stores and shit to get his purple suit..We actually found something that should work! Wheeee!! I still don't like it though..

MichelleRene - 10-15-2004 at 07:32 AM

 I love Halloween! I'm probably dressing up...not sure yet as what....I have a couple of ideas. No ones really having any parties, so I'll probably hand out candy......

JunoRedneck - 10-15-2004 at 07:40 AM

I wanted to be Star from Lost Boys, but I don't think anyone would get it. Unless I got other people to dress up like the rest of them. That would kick ass.

I don't know what I'm gonna be :(

draconian - 10-15-2004 at 01:12 PM

Sexy hobo?

JunoRedneck - 10-15-2004 at 01:16 PM

When I was 5 or 6, I was in the play Little Shop of Horrors and I played a dancing hobo. It was awesome. I got to slide across the stage on my knees. It was good fun. But then one of the sliding hobo kids ran into one of the trash cans (part of the set) and everyone started laughing in the middle of the play. Then the chick who was running the play got all pissed at everyone. Good childhood memories.

I dunno why, but that made me think about this movie. There's a part where Mel Brooks, and Lesley Ann Warren do it, but they're totally all dirty n stuff from living on the streets, but I remember thinking...hmmmm...Lesley Ann Warren is hot even when she's dirty. :D Thus we have the "Sexy Hobo".

happysmilely - 10-16-2004 at 09:44 PM

I saw this really great robot costume I was going to get but it was like $800. no way, so I decided to get a brown paper bag and be a "bag head person" for Halloween.
just cut some wholes for eyes and I'm set.
can't get cheaper then spending nothing
It's my favorite holiday, I don't have any plans yet.

last year I was Radiohead. ya know, I made a big radio and put it on my head... that was a good one.

prettyvacant - 10-17-2004 at 01:04 AM

i was a devil one year, but i'm usually a witch. mwahahaha!!

Noisemonster - 10-17-2004 at 07:38 AM

when i was 8 or 9 years old, i was a robot on carnival! we took two cardboard boxes and glued aluminum foil to them.

TurtleEnterprises - 10-17-2004 at 08:40 AM

I made a robot when i was small out of foil and cup o noodle boxes:)
:D

JunoRedneck - 10-17-2004 at 04:34 PM

I should be a dancing robotic hobo.

7cut - 10-18-2004 at 01:07 AM

i would like to either dress up as Devo (at least one member of `em) or wearing a toga and being Artemis ....last year i was Adam Ant. i love dressing up ...it should be carneval or halloween like all year. lately i saw some people dressed up as Indians with feathers and suede clothing and all although it wasn´t halloween nor carneval. i love shite like that ....everyone should dress up! and i have to say that i love colourful panty hoses ...
