Utterly Depressed.

7cut - 10-26-2004 at 03:14 AM

i start hating this time of year ...i mean i like the colourful leaves and all but i just get depressed a lot and put everything there is in question. and like all of my friends are occupied / preoccupied with other stuff and got no time going out so i canīt go out neither and waste my time at home in the damn 24 square meter flat. just wait a bit of time and iīll be having visual friends only ...how depressing is that ?

i feel like a piece of shit ...-mind control.

wow ..this topic has turned me into a one page jammy ...whatever this might be.

halloween aka toddlers gone wild.

minimandy14 - 10-26-2004 at 05:47 AM

eh its ok i know how it is, i hate being the only one of my friends thats still single, they all go out to the movies and are like oh yea do you wanna come. and then the whole time you feel like the third wheel.. . . . . *sigh* oh now i am depressed . . . .

draconian - 10-26-2004 at 08:00 AM

One Page Jammy is what JMJ called .net way back when when we were nothing more than a "One Page Jammy." Cracks me up every time. So we made it a title for people within a very narrow five post range.

TurtleEnterprises - 10-26-2004 at 08:45 AM

I was once one of those thanks for the history Drac:)

7cut - 10-26-2004 at 11:40 PM

Drac, is it possible getting IMA stickers again ? the ones you sent are coming to an end ...i plastered Munich-based bars and clubīs toilets with `em ...

poor 7 & mandy :( that reminds me of a time when i had only a few friends, and they all had a partner - so i wanted to go out, but they were often like 'hmmm, we want to stay home', or if they went out with me, it was only sitting around and talking shizz that i'm not interested in. i was the fifth wheel, too.
now i'm still single, but got so many opportunities to go out that i never get bored - but sometimes still a little depressed.. now the thing that annoys me the most is that there is so little time to do all the things that i want to do!

minimandy14 - 10-27-2004 at 05:28 AM

oh i wish it was that way for me, all i do is get up go to school come home for a few minutes to change, go to work come home and get on the computer. . . . . . .wow that sounds more depressing out loud. . . . . .

Jette - 10-27-2004 at 07:20 AM

Noisemonster - 10-27-2004 at 10:17 AM

:( hmmm poobs.. i might get fired soon, too...... my boss said that i have too little knowledge. it's all shitty, don't wanna think about it.

:o hey jette, my niece is also called jette! thought the name was rare.. where in the netherlands is boxtel?

Jette - 10-27-2004 at 10:20 AM

it is a very rare name! i dont know anyone who is named jette, except for some stupid actress. jet is quite a common name though

boxtel is in the south, in between den bosch and eindhoven

Noisemonster - 10-27-2004 at 10:31 AM

ah i see! that's like only 100km from cologne where i go tomorrow to see kasabian and then to the after-show party!

Jette - 10-27-2004 at 10:33 AM

kasabian are alright. but aftershows are always nice!

Noisemonster - 10-27-2004 at 10:40 AM

yea, especially if it's popfiction in cologne! i was there last week for the first time and was so surprised that it was 100 times better than everything in frankfurt or darmstadt..

..so maybe you're gonna go there, too? :)

Jette - 10-27-2004 at 01:30 PM

hah, i dont think i could even get to cologne in one day if i wanted to.

well actually, ofcourse i can, but tomorrow is my stay-in-pyamas-and-preferably-also-in-bed-day

Noisemonster - 10-28-2004 at 12:21 AM

hmmm okay, enjoy your lazy day..

7cut - 10-28-2004 at 12:56 AM

Working for Compost is the first job i havenīt been fired from .....i was fired at Virgin, i was fired at a clothing store i was helping out and i was fired at a dvd postproduction company. i got a bit insecure after that since i thought it might be MY fault, not theirs.:D i just had problems working straight after school coz i wasnīt used to the long hours and i just wouldnīt take it serious. now i do ....well, yeah. sort of. ---no, wait, i had a small job at a music store and at a Indian pizza place and they didnīt fire me neither so itīs not been all but three times is harsh ....

[Edited on 28-10-2004 by 7cut]

Jette - 10-28-2004 at 04:09 AM

wow, youve had many jobs so far!

7cut - 10-28-2004 at 05:19 AM

well, iīm 22 already ...

and i even had two more jobs straight after i moved to Munich ...working at a student radio station and selling art over the phone.

Jette - 10-28-2004 at 06:02 AM

how is phone selling? isnt it very frustrating, since every says theyre not interested immediatly

7cut - 11-2-2004 at 09:40 AM

no no, i loved it - but wouldnīt have as a long-time profession. but itīs quite harsh if you gotta phone non-stop for 4 hours. wears you out a lot. but i got 50Euro CASH for 4 hours which was quite something. non-taxes. and i had to do with old people only, most of them former doctors or just being wealthy. and some were half-deaf which had me screaming on the phone....my boss had been sort of an old mafioso....oooooh *sigh* those were the days of cash ...

Jette - 11-2-2004 at 10:47 AM

E12.50 an hour? im gonna get me one of those jobs!

7cut - 11-3-2004 at 12:34 AM

yep, but itīs quite difficult !!!! people donīt easily think youīre honest at all selling stuff over the phone ...i had to tell those people --pensionists who once bought at a "auction house" or however itīs called-- that the former owner of the house, prince blahblahblah has gone bankrupt and now marries blahblahblah and we have taken over the stuff, fine carpets ...etc. i had to talk for like 5 minutes almost ..hehe. some were so into it, others just hung up. it was fun in a way but also quite frustrating at times.

poobs - 11-3-2004 at 08:27 AM

I hate telemarketers..

Jette - 11-3-2004 at 08:40 AM

without hate, there cannot be love

maybe thats why they get paid so well

As soon as I hear that empty space, I hang up..That's the tell-tale sign of a telemarketer..

anQ - 11-3-2004 at 10:03 AM

Haha.. well I've to be carefull with that... my grandma has the tendency not to say anything in the first minute.. don't think she understands how it's possible to hear someone who isn't in the same room as her :)

poobs - 11-3-2004 at 10:34 AM

:lol::lol: Good ol' granny..

Recently, my friend invites me to her "exciting" sleepover. I was all excited to have a girl's thing because we never have the time to hang out and when we went there all we did was watch movies and go to sleep. It was so hurt. I miss those old days where we'd scream out the car window at people and do other crazy stuff. It's like we got old and all we want to do is sit and do nothing.

poobs - 11-3-2004 at 02:48 PM

I hear ya, banana..I was the maid of honor for my best friend and any time I talked to her, it was just strange..Like our chemistry is gone..I figured it was just the wedding getting in the way..But the bachelorette party wasn't as fun as it should have been and she was so boring even AFTER the wedding..We just spoke for the first time since the beginning of September the other day and it was still odd..We're just not n'sync or something..She's just so..Yuppie and boring now.. :( But I don't want to lose her cuz we've been friends for over 20 years now..Get this! We started our periods in 6th grade within a week of each other..AND we lost our virginity within a week of each other! Plus, we both found out crazy shit about our dad's on the same night!! I love her to death..I just wish we could laugh and be stupid together like we used to..

bananaboat - 11-3-2004 at 03:08 PM

Yea it sucks when things change between friends. I used to walk home or walk to school with this one friend of mine. We'd talk about everything, but eventually we stop walking together and now when we talk it's all awkward. It makes me sad.

EvilMotivator - 11-3-2004 at 08:07 PM

yeah, juno and i used to be really good friends, but i just find her boring now...

JunoRedneck - 11-3-2004 at 08:57 PM

:lol: Seriously. Evil is all like, I like Muse. I have red hair. My car is named Brutus Jesus Martin. Blah, blah, blah. Crazy whore.

EvilMotivator - 11-3-2004 at 09:03 PM

Ha ha. Such a good impression. It's all so true.

EvilMotivator - 11-3-2004 at 09:05 PM

Oh, and I also wanted to say that just reading the subject of this thread makes my mood go down a bit.

JunoRedneck - 11-3-2004 at 09:08 PM

Just reading YOUR subject makes my mood go down a bit! Snap! Hahahahahahaha.... that made no sense.
