Mango?

bananaboat - 11-7-2004 at 02:51 PM

Hey, do you guys read manga or watch anime?

TurtleEnterprises - 11-7-2004 at 02:58 PM

Mango is my favorite fruit.
Ive seen Naruto.

bananaboat - 11-7-2004 at 03:06 PM

Oh cool you watch Naruto? I'm such a geek, everytime I watch it I want to be a ninja.

seacaptain - 11-7-2004 at 03:18 PM

My brother and I had inherited a mango farm in India from my Dad's side of the family, which is Indian. But dammit, someone sold it before we even knew about it! We're still bitter, we both wanted to retire there, living out our days keeping the monkeys away from the mango trees.

But anyway no, I don't watch manga or anime. Though the South Park / Anime episode was brilliant...

Cap'n, that's an awesome story.. :D

JunoRedneck - 11-7-2004 at 03:57 PM

I wish I had a mango farm.

envelope - 11-7-2004 at 04:27 PM

I love Manga/Anime. I only watch what comes on cartoonnetwork really late at night. That is all I watch (Anime) on T.V. Inu Yasha... People think it's sad that I am practically 20 and I still watch cartoons. The shows at night aren't for kiddies anyway...

minimandy14 - 11-7-2004 at 05:51 PM

I LOVE INUYASHA! and that one crime show that comes on after it. i don't think its sad that you still watch cartoons, i think its cool

envelope - 11-7-2004 at 06:13 PM

Cased closed... I watch the 12.30 showing because I work late. Now I am working so late i don't get to see those shows. How about lupin the 3RD. Anyway, it's cool to meet people that do many things I do. I love this place.

minimandy14 - 11-7-2004 at 06:31 PM

i don't really like lupin the 3rd but yea Cased Closed i love that show. . . momentary brain lasp i forgot the name :D

envelope - 11-7-2004 at 07:16 PM

I hate sealab 2021 and teenhungerforce. Those are the most stupid shows.

JunoRedneck - 11-7-2004 at 07:57 PM

Has anyone ever seen Ranma 1/2? It's hilarious. It's about a dude who fights people, but when he's splashed with water he turns into a girl. And he is trying to keep the secret from his classmates, and whenever he's a girl everyone hits on him. And his dad is a panda or something... it's cool. That's the only anime show I think I like.

envelope - 11-7-2004 at 08:11 PM

I totally love Ranma 1/2. I think it is by the same person who made inu Yasha. I never watched the show but i have read the manga and boy o boy does that make me laugh. It is so funny. Dude, I love anime.

poobs - 11-7-2004 at 08:47 PM

seacaptain - 11-7-2004 at 09:25 PM

JunoRedneck - 11-7-2004 at 09:47 PM

Hey, I only like the tranny one. And I've only seen it once. But it was funny. I don't watch other anime  Hmm, but come to think of it I watched the show a really long time ago... and it was with this older guy that I really like at the time. Maybe that's why I liked it :duh:

minimandy14 - 11-7-2004 at 10:04 PM

7cut - 11-8-2004 at 04:32 AM

bananaboat - 11-8-2004 at 02:53 PM

The only mangas I've read is Hana Yori Dango and Peach Girl. Most of the other mangas I've seen, seem like they're drawn and written by real horny guys.

bananaboat - 11-8-2004 at 03:22 PM

Yea mangos are yummy.
I like Captain's mango story, it's coolio.

seacaptain - 11-8-2004 at 04:21 PM

The story would be so much cooler if we still had the mango farm! Then I'd invite everyone to visit.

bananaboat - 11-8-2004 at 04:28 PM

Yea it would be better if you still had it.
Who sold the farm? Why did they sell it?

seacaptain - 11-8-2004 at 04:51 PM

I'm not really clear on that actually. I believe all the cousins in the family inherited it, and since we're all spread around the world now, someone older than us just got rid of the farm.

I'm not even sure how many cousins were involved, I don't know that side of my family all that well because they're so far away. I'll have to ask my Dad.

poobs - 11-8-2004 at 05:24 PM

Jette - 11-9-2004 at 11:36 AM

bananaboat - 11-9-2004 at 02:23 PM

7cut - 11-10-2004 at 10:26 AM

poobs - 11-10-2004 at 10:36 AM

He was on Saturday Night Live for a while..He was also in Night At The Roxbury with Will Farrell and he was in Corky Romano..

I think my favorite Chris Kattan character was Mr. Peepers..

JunoRedneck - 11-10-2004 at 11:34 AM

Oh man, I love Mr. Peepers!

poobs - 11-10-2004 at 11:35 AM

The Dawson's Creek one was so good..When he spit all that apple shit onto Katie Holmes and she had a piece of it on her eye..:lol:

He was an awesome Gelman, too..

JunoRedneck - 11-10-2004 at 11:39 AM

That one was hilarious. I can totally see why Katie fell for him.

poobs - 11-10-2004 at 11:43 AM

I'd fuck 'im..:saint::duh:

Evangeline - 11-10-2004 at 06:06 PM

No mango for you!

EvilMotivator - 11-10-2004 at 10:48 PM

Night at the Roxbury is one of my favorite movies. Man, their outfits are too good.

7cut - 11-11-2004 at 04:10 AM

a friend told me on that German Saturday Night Live character played by Mike Myers ...that German who likes Kraftwerk. is it sort of a prejudice ? Americans asssume ALL Germans know Kraftwerk and are into `em ? there by far not as popular and known as that by the majority.

poobs - 11-11-2004 at 07:42 AM

Sprockets? When he played Dieter? Ahhh..Good stuff..In fact, my son's middle name is Dietrich..I swear I didn't name him after the Mike Myers character..:duh:

Yea and a lot of people think Canadians say "Eh" after every sentence and pronounce about like "a-boot."

JunoRedneck - 11-11-2004 at 04:05 PM

Canadians do say "about" differently than most Americans though. Same with "out" and "sorry". It's not "a-boot" though. It's just a tad different. But everyone has a little different accent. Like how my cousins from Oregon say "milk". They say it like "melk". It annoys me. No wait. It's them that annoys me. Nevermind. And SNL makes fun of everyone

poobs - 11-11-2004 at 06:50 PM

Stereotypes are there for a reason, people..:lol:

EvilMotivator - 11-11-2004 at 07:47 PM

I hate when people say melk and pellow. It's so annoying. Or when they say pin instead of pen. Grossy.

JunoRedneck - 11-11-2004 at 07:58 PM

I hate people who say "cran" instead of crayon

TurtleEnterprises - 11-11-2004 at 10:13 PM

You hate me!!!:ticking::D

poobs - 11-11-2004 at 10:27 PM

Brody used to say "crown" instead of crayon..do you hate him? :duh:

poobs - 11-11-2004 at 10:27 PM

Who hates Turtle?? :ticking::ticking::ticking::ticking:

EvilMotivator - 11-11-2004 at 11:47 PM

Oh fuck. Why didn't you tell me you hated me earlier, Juno? I'm too lazy to say crayon. But the other words I was talking about, the people change the letters. And that's just stupid.

7cut - 11-12-2004 at 12:34 AM

God, you are aware that Dieter is a horrible name, eh ? i donīt think itīs a nice German name but Dietrich is a bit better. i dislike the name Stefan and Andreas. btw, is Waker a common name in the States ?????

poobs - 11-12-2004 at 06:45 AM

If I thought that Dieter was a horrible name, do you think I would have named my son a variation of it? In fact, my favorite teacher's brother's name was Dieter, which I thought was a sign..I think Dietrich is an awesome name..

EvilMotivator - 11-12-2004 at 01:20 PM

It is an awesome name. So is Brody. Good choices.

How do Americans say about?
Hahaha, I talk weird. I have a mix of accents. I have a friend who stutters and some of my other friends have accents and I picked it all up from them. I have a hard time saying some words sometimes and it comes out sounding British-y.

bananaboat - 11-12-2004 at 01:31 PM

Dietrich is such a cool name.

poobs - 11-12-2004 at 02:32 PM

Ha! Thanks guys..;) :D

JunoRedneck - 11-12-2004 at 02:45 PM

I don't hate Turtle or Brody. I'm just easily annoyed :D

poobs - 11-12-2004 at 03:00 PM

Annoyed by Turtle and Brody? :ticking:;)

TurtleEnterprises - 11-13-2004 at 09:03 AM

bananaboat - 11-14-2004 at 05:13 PM

I say milk like, "millkk." It annoys my brother.

poobs - 11-14-2004 at 05:39 PM

If I say milk, I almost always have to say "a whole lotta milk-a" right after..Damn Kids In The Hall sketch..:ticking:

7cut - 11-15-2004 at 05:35 AM

marlene DIETRICH.

Evangeline - 11-15-2004 at 12:27 PM

Which Kids in the Hall scetch? I love that damn show.

poobs - 11-15-2004 at 02:31 PM

It's Kevin McDonald and he's talking to his kid and he's making cereal and he says "a whole lotta milka" and then I think he talks about the mom leaving them or something..I haven't seen it in a looon time so I don't remember..But I DO remember.. A whole lotta milk-a..:lol:

Evangeline - 11-15-2004 at 03:44 PM

 I don't remember. I do remember "I squish your head like grape!" and " I won't spread for no roses!" Thos canadians, I wish that show wasn't off the air.

poobs - 11-15-2004 at 04:17 PM

They still play the episodes on Comedy Central..:duh:

JunoRedneck - 11-15-2004 at 06:40 PM

I wish Comedy Central would start playing SNL again :( and Conan :(:( I think they've shown every single episode of MadTV like 20 times each

poobs - 11-15-2004 at 10:10 PM

They do! Wait..I haven't seen Conan for a while..But I could have sworn I saw SNL! Or was that just on E! :(

bananaboat - 11-16-2004 at 09:35 AM

I remember watching Kids in the Hall when I was young. I didn't realize everyone was gay until my brother told me. I was like "no it isn't!" And just then I saw two of the guys making out, and I was like, "Oh." Hahaha.

poobs - 11-16-2004 at 11:20 AM

Mmm..2 guys making out..;) :D

Jette - 11-16-2004 at 12:19 PM

oh yeah thats always hot :D

except when theyre ugly
but i guess that goes for all things!

EvilMotivator - 11-16-2004 at 09:41 PM

I had lots of fun when I went to gay pride. You gotta love the gay guys dancin' all up in each other's hizzies. Yay for straight people with gay pride.

7cut - 11-17-2004 at 05:02 AM

2 guys making out ? *shiver*

THATīs the way itīs got to be....or two women making out. more beautiful to watch. :o:D

Jette - 11-17-2004 at 07:33 AM

yeah thats true. im not gay, but id rather see women naked than men really.. women are just prettier

poobs - 11-17-2004 at 08:12 AM

I didn't say naked men kissing..just men kissing in general..Good stuff..The whole lesbian shit is so over-done..It's boring..But, yes..The female body is much prettier than the male's..It's such a shame that so many women exploit that..

Jette - 11-17-2004 at 09:15 AM

exploit? you mean 'use wisely'? ;)

poobs - 11-17-2004 at 09:20 AM

Nope..I mean exploit..It's retarded that there are so many women posing naked..Who are they doing it for? Themselves? Please..

Jette - 11-17-2004 at 10:38 AM

oh, i thought in the way that they get men to do stuff fro them by waering short skirts etc.

ah i guess if you want to pose naked you should know that for yourself

7cut - 11-18-2004 at 05:03 AM

when younger i enjoyed seeing those two lads go for an intense snog...by now i realized that glam rock is shite.
