Fun fact for old beck bbsers--Wade Boggs (3000+ hits) is in a band that opened for the Futureheads not too far back here in Mpls.

I heard the F-heads open for Franz Ferdinand, they were quite good.

Hey yea, I heard these guys somewhere...

minimandy14 - 12-1-2004 at 07:42 PM

never heard them before but they sound pretty good from what i hear on their website, and if they opened for franz ferdinand they must be good :D

avw86 - 12-6-2004 at 08:21 PM

When I saw them with Franz, I liked them but I wasn't too impressed. But then I saw them recently with Razorlight at a smaller, more intimate venue (where the sound was much better) and I LOVE them! So nice, too. :D

they have done an amazing cover of a Kate Bush song that is getting relaesed over here. Hounds of Love! Thats it! chek it out

EvilMotivator - 1-2-2005 at 07:32 PM

I just got their cd today. They're awesome. I love accents.

Evil - 6-5-2005 at 11:13 AM

Yay, I just bought tickets to their show in SF on the 18th. This should be good.

DylerPlummer - 6-5-2005 at 03:34 PM

Excellent band.. They've been around for a while here now and this'll be their third trip over there to you lot ..

JunoRedneck - 6-5-2005 at 04:04 PM

I know. Evil and I have missed them quite a few times just because of bad timing. But this time it's official :D

Noisemonster - 6-5-2005 at 04:26 PM

the accent is so weird.. the one song that goes like happy and lucky, sounds like huppy and looky!

avw86 - 6-20-2005 at 01:40 AM

Saw 'em last night in SF for the fifth time! Fab show...and just by chance I met Evil and JunoRedneck, who were standing right behind me! If you guys read this, what did you think of the show? I had a LOT of fun (although High Speed Scene were kinda dull that night), and it was especially great to hear "Danger of the Water." :)

Evil - 6-21-2005 at 05:20 PM

Danger of the Water was definitely one of my favorite parts. Ooooo, and Meantime. I love that song. I think they're even better after seeing them live. Hopefully they'll come around again soon.

Do you remember the name of the first band?

avw86 - 6-21-2005 at 05:24 PM

Yes, yes! According to Barry, they're going to be recording after all the festivals are over. He wants to do more songs like "Danger of the Water." But he said that they might not come back here till the winter :( That seems so long!

First band was Every Move a Picture. Did you like them? It's funny, because I've seen them at least 4 times, just because they open for everybody!

Evil - 6-21-2005 at 06:54 PM

Yeah, I enjoyed them. High Speed Scene's drums were fantabulous.

JunoRedneck - 6-21-2005 at 07:59 PM

It rucking focked! Woooooooo!
