minimandy14 - 5-1-2005 at 07:49 PM

Ok so I am trying to upload a new Avatar and its keeps telling me JPG or GIF and it is . . . . I tried it both ways . . . . .What do I do?

happysmilely - 5-1-2005 at 08:45 PM

you sit there a cry.
soon you decide that life has no point and you go back to crying some more.

It happens. tell Phobiac or some other VIP to fix it.

Evil - 5-1-2005 at 09:18 PM

Why do so many people have problems with their avatars? I don't think mine has ever gotten fucked up.

poobs - 5-1-2005 at 10:52 PM

I've never had issues either..Maybe the board is telling you something, Mini.. ;)

Noisemonster - 5-2-2005 at 01:11 AM

:cool2: i had problems.. if i tried to upload an avatar out of my fundus. but if linking to a pic, it works.

Noisemonster - 5-2-2005 at 01:13 AM

but hey mandy, keep your avatar! it's cute!!

poobs - 5-2-2005 at 06:44 AM

I don't think you can upload pics from your computer to use as avatars, can you? I know you can't do that for regular pictures at least..

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 08:02 AM

Yes. I had problems with mine too. It says that it only takes jpg and not gifs.

JunoRedneck - 5-2-2005 at 08:04 AM

Mine is a GIF. You just have to use an image hosting site, like photobucket.com.

happysmilely - 5-2-2005 at 09:31 AM

I have problems

but photbucket is a super. use it.

(no more 2929)
hey 2930 is a good number as well, right?

[Edited on 2-5-2005 by happysmilely]

poobs - 5-2-2005 at 10:04 AM

Yes..Stick with the 2930..For a few minutes..Then post some more!!! You're almost at 3000!!

It's funny that Michelle hasn't posted lately, yet she's still the #2 poster on this board..And YOU haven't been around much and you're still the #3 poster!!! When did we rack up so many posts??:lol::lol::lol:

bananaboat - 5-2-2005 at 12:20 PM

Haha I love Evil's avatar, cracks me up everytime.

Evil - 5-2-2005 at 01:09 PM

That's what I'm here for. Or that's what Matt's alive for. Whichev.

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 03:36 PM

I was trying to upload my avatar but I dunno what you guys mean by linking it to a pic. . . . . . .

poobs - 5-2-2005 at 04:12 PM

It has to be from a website..Not just on your computer..

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 04:30 PM

It does?. . . .wait let me check and look around. . . . . .

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 04:32 PM

WOW! I DID IT! I am so amazing :D  damn Harison Ford is so hot.

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 04:53 PM

Yes I was but I seen your name on the list so I changed my mind.:P:lol:

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 04:55 PM

How long ago was that, like ten years ago?. . . maybe you should reconsider.

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 04:57 PM

Well your the one that all about becoming clever now. What happen before?

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 04:59 PM

I was a little kid? I dunno, I don't understand your question.

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 05:02 PM

Your clever now meaning your smarter. What happen before all of this?

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 05:03 PM

I was smart but now I am clever and witty. . . . . :D:yes:

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 05:04 PM

Oh. Must be a Gemini huh....

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 05:06 PM

No. I am a Capricorn, just like Jesus and Martin Luther King Jr. AND Einstein might I add. :D

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 05:09 PM

Oh. cool. I'm a Gemini and they are mostly witty, sometimes.

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 05:10 PM

Weird. You don't seem Witty.

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 05:12 PM

I'm not. The only thing that is true about Gemini's and me is the split personalities. Gemini's would do something good but think something evil afterwards. Kinda like a angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other thing.

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 05:16 PM

Right. . . . . .Have you ever scene that movie. . . The Emporer's New Groove. . . .man thats funny when Cronk is like standing there and he's got the Devil and the Angel on his shoulder and the Devil is all like "don't listen to him, look at him, he's wearing a dress" Because he is wearing a robe  its great, I love that movie. I think I will watch it tonight.

poobs - 5-2-2005 at 05:17 PM

Yeah..That movie is awesome..I like when Cronk is making his own theme music and strings out that note while pressing himself up against the building..Good stuff..

minimandy14 - 5-2-2005 at 05:19 PM

LOL  :lol::lol::lol: Yea He's my favorite. they got the best dude ever to play his voice . . . the dude that used to be "The Tick" lol its so great . . . . "name" "The. Tick." lol man I love that guy.:)

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 05:21 PM

Oh yeah. I love that movie.

poobs - 5-2-2005 at 05:25 PM

Patrick Warburton..He was awesome on Seinfeld..

corkey16 - 5-2-2005 at 05:27 PM

I liked The Tick. I thought it was funny.

minimandy14 - 5-3-2005 at 09:28 PM

Yea, He's one of my favorite Actors.

Jette - 5-4-2005 at 05:30 AM

haha the emperors new groove is the only disney movie i liked :duh: i despise them all, except this one, it really make me laugh
and the best thing, its the only one that is actually better with dutch dub than english. its wonderous

JunoRedneck - 5-4-2005 at 07:25 AM

But what about the classic Disney movies, like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty? They'll always hold a special place in my heart just because I watched them so many times as a little tyke. But looking back, Disney movies were kinda upsetting for children. I mean, Bambi? Why the fuck would they do that to little kids?!? "Hey children, look at this little deer family. Aren't they adorable? What? You like the mommy deer because she's like your mom? Oh, too bad... BECAUSE SHE JUST GOT KILLED BY AN EVIL DEER HUNTER BECAUSE LIFE IS EVIL AND EVERYONE DIES!!!"

I guess I'll just stick to Cinderella.

corkey16 - 5-4-2005 at 07:28 AM

I bet all the rednecks loved it. My favorite is Lion King. Oh yeah, that has a very sad part in it too. I remember that I cried when Mofasa died. (I think that's how you spell his name):(

poobs - 5-4-2005 at 07:34 AM

Or The Fox and the Hound? Oi..

I love Disney movies..The Little Mermaid was my favorite for years..I remember going to see Aladdin about 5 times in the theater.. I think my favorite of all time is The Sword In The Stone..

poobs - 5-4-2005 at 07:37 AM

And what about ET?? I know it's not a Disney movie, but it was traumatic for me as a kid..I don't think I have ever cried so hard as I did when I was 5 years old or whatever and seeing that movie for the first time..I still can't watch it..

corkey16 - 5-4-2005 at 07:41 AM

 Just like Benji. I cry everytime I see that movie. Plus it sends me to sleep, cause there are no words.

Yeah, I watched ET when I was kid and never watched it again and I couldn't remember why. Then I went to see it again when it was re-released in theaters and was sobbing through it. I remembered why I stopped watching it...:(
I cry easily in movies though.

poobs - 5-4-2005 at 08:25 AM

Me too..Especially ever since I became a mom..I cry at commercials..At lame tv shows..Movies..Dancer in the Dark literally made me sob for hours..Damn hormones..

corkey16 - 5-4-2005 at 09:22 AM

Commericial? Like which ones?

Evil - 5-4-2005 at 09:56 AM

I hate ET and most Disney movies.

well alright, those are classic, but when youve got a friend who watches nothing then cheesy disneys and loves to force her quotes on to other people constantly (and magically, she knows every movie by heart) it kinda grows against you

Jette - 5-4-2005 at 10:12 AM

ive had this poster in my room for as long as i can remember, its so pretty:

corkey16 - 5-4-2005 at 11:29 AM

No it's not.:P

JunoRedneck - 5-4-2005 at 03:20 PM

It? It meaning Evil?

minimandy14 - 5-4-2005 at 10:00 PM

Have you ever noticed that in like almost all cartoon disney movies (the old classic ones) either one or both of the parents is dead or dies. . . .

Cinderella- both parents (she lives with her evil step mother)
The Little Mermaid- You never ever see her mom in the movie
Bambi- The mom dies (and you never see the dad)
Aladdin- Either his parents abandond him or their dead
Snow White- You never see her dad (I mean really where is the king?)
The Lion King- The dad dies
Beauty and the Beast- You never see her mom

I mean the list goes on, I just don't feel like thinking right now about it, the only movie that I can think of that both of the parents are alive in is Sleeping Beauty and even then they give her up until she is sixteen. . . .I mean really, what are they trying to teach little kids? Isn't it bad enough that on the T.V. theres sex, drugs, and violence. and now this company that is supposed to teach good things to little kids is secretly teaching little kids that yes mommy and daddy are going to die some day, I am not saying that thats a bad thing, its just that aren't movies (especially cartoons) supposed to give people false hope about the world, or make it seem like a world that is sureal? well fictional movies of faries, mermaids and talking lions of course.

Well, it DOES happen you know..Besides, I think part of their message is that you can have a happy ending, even if you come from a not-so-happy beginning..Especially if you visit an Asian massage parlor..;)

minimandy14 - 5-5-2005 at 05:44 AM

I know it happens and I said that it does, but what I was getting at is that aren't cartoon movies supposed to give you a feeling of a sureal life? and in the beginning of those movies they are all happy.

corkey16 - 5-5-2005 at 06:24 PM

Oh the lessons that are suppose to be learned. Yes.:) All that I remember is that in Aladin it teach you not to lie all the time.

minimandy14 - 5-5-2005 at 09:30 PM

Or Pinnochio. . . .

corkey16 - 5-6-2005 at 08:57 AM

Oh yeah. The nose!:D

minimandy14 - 5-6-2005 at 07:08 PM

I thought Aladdin was suppose to teach you to be carefull what you wish for.

corkey16 - 5-6-2005 at 07:09 PM

Oh yeah your right. Because you can't wish for too much to come true.

minimandy14 - 5-6-2005 at 07:25 PM

yea, right. . . . . Have you even seen any disney movies?

corkey16 - 5-6-2005 at 07:28 PM

Not much. I remember Alice in Wonderland. I can actually say that whole movie (plus the songs) by hard.

minimandy14 - 5-6-2005 at 07:30 PM

By Hard?

poobs - 5-6-2005 at 07:31 PM

Aladdin is all about being true to yourself..She liked the real Aladdin..Not Prince Ali..

Well, it's the way we say it here in Georgia for "knowing something like the back of your hand" or memorizing something.:)

minimandy14 - 5-6-2005 at 07:33 PM

Oh yea, That too :D

Jette - 5-7-2005 at 12:44 AM

i think mini meant that it is 'by heart'

BallsDeepRootDown - 5-7-2005 at 05:59 PM

I seen the Seven Dwarfs do a chain gang on Snow White. Oh so snowy white

BallsDeepRootDown - 5-7-2005 at 06:00 PM

Ariel's pussy smells like fish

minimandy14 - 5-8-2005 at 10:43 AM

Gross, no need for that.
