So yeah guys, I was wondering what stores do you guys usually go to buy CD's?

In Calgary, the best place to go for CD's is a&b sound, because they have CD's at cheapo prices and you can usually find stuff there. I also like going to Play. There's HMV, they're okay.

Here in Bangor, your choice for cd shopping is limited to either FYE in the mall, in which most everything is way overpriced, or Bullmoose,which has reasonably priced music/games/dvd's/pins/posters,etc,etc. Their selection(especially in the case of underground music) isn't the best, but it's decent.

circuit city usually has the cds priced really cheap on or around there release dates. Otherwise forget it all cd's are over-priced.

It's all about buying the used cds from Streetlight. 5 to 10 bucks a cd? Hells yes!

I go to Best Buy to get a cd when I first comes out cause it's cheap. Like 9.99. Plus it's the only place I found Ima Robot's cd.

ha! i worked at hmv before, but they shut down all the stores in germany. now, if not second hand, i buy my cd's at media markt, saturn, or sometimes wom.

best buy surprises me all the time with what they have in stock nowadays. but i prefer the independent shops, those guys know their stuff.

Does anyone else think there's no good reason why a CD should be more than ten dollars?

I HATE when people at random places call you by your name. Like at Jamba Juice, or something. When they say, "Okay, Stella, have a nice day." And then if they say it more than once, it's just awkward. Really awkward.

I'm not good at doing things like that with a straight face either. I have pulled off the Jagzi thing a couple times though. They give me the funniest look everytime. Then later, when they are supposed to call the name they get all confused and forget how to say it. It's funny.
