Yeah, I heard of that. Shit, I wish I could quit smoking. Corkey, where you been? Haven't seen you in here in a while.

minimandy14 - 8-8-2005 at 03:05 PM

It's sad that he died, he was a great journalist, lets just hope that us future journalists will look up to him and remember him for being a great man, as oppose to a smoker :P

7cut - 8-8-2005 at 04:12 PM

Ibrahim Ferrer (Buena Vista Social Club) died also these days....

and Robin Cook - the former UK secretary of state, too.

Not personally, but he was a great reporter, and he definatly paved a few new roads for future journalists, thats why its so sad that he died.

poobs - 8-12-2005 at 05:40 PM

He was my rock during 9/11..And him showing emotion when the buildings came down was so shocking to me..It made me fall in love with him..:D

corkey16 - 8-12-2005 at 05:56 PM

Yea it takes a very special sort of person to be able to do that over national tv. When I found out that he was actually fired, and then when they asked him back, he returned, I was like man. . . .I don't think I would have gone back!

bananaboat - 8-15-2005 at 05:11 PM

I'm a dumbo.

corkey16 - 8-15-2005 at 05:22 PM

Aren't we all. :P:)

minimandy14 - 8-15-2005 at 05:34 PM

I'm not. . . . .

poobs - 8-15-2005 at 07:47 PM

Me neither..And neither are you, banana..

JunoRedneck - 8-15-2005 at 09:04 PM

The movie Dumbo makes me cry. Everytime I see it. It never fails.

poobs - 8-16-2005 at 06:13 AM

I can't watch it.. Or the Lion King..

minimandy14 - 8-16-2005 at 12:28 PM

I love both of those movies! I love the pink elephants in Dumbo, and the songs in Lion King. . . . .

Evil - 8-16-2005 at 03:12 PM

I don't like Disney.

minimandy14 - 8-16-2005 at 04:02 PM

Is it because one parent is dead in like almost all of the famous ones?. . . .or just all of them in general. . . . .

minimandy14 - 8-16-2005 at 06:08 PM

Yea, but they end happy. . . . . .

poobs - 8-16-2005 at 06:25 PM

But they have sad parts..;)

minimandy14 - 8-16-2005 at 06:29 PM

Yea. . . I suppose you're right. . . . .But I don't like to remember the sad stuff, I like to remember the happy inspirational parts! Hahaha.

Happy endings don't bring back Mufasa! Fuck Disney!

minimandy14 - 8-16-2005 at 07:23 PM

 well. . . he's there in memory, he is in Simba! . . . .awe that just made me miss my kitty cat alot :( . . . his name was simba. . .we had to leave him back in washington :(

bananaboat - 8-17-2005 at 10:10 AM

Yeah I can't stand the Lion King, that a movie I wouldn't want to see again. And yes I am a dumbo. I thought Peter Jennings was a reporter for CBC and I was surprised that people in the States actually watch CBC. But he only started out at CBC and then to ABC. Therefore I am a dumbo.

minimandy14 - 8-17-2005 at 11:51 AM

Nor really. . .I mean he WAS Canadian. . .any person could make that mistake :P

poobs - 8-18-2005 at 05:58 PM

Weeeeelll..That WAS a bit dumb of you..But only a smidge.. ;)

minimandy14 - 8-19-2005 at 12:21 PM

poobs - 8-19-2005 at 07:43 PM

I'm drinking some right now!!! :o

JunoRedneck - 8-19-2005 at 08:59 PM

I'm not drinking water right now! What a coincidence! This is crazy!

poobs - 8-19-2005 at 09:04 PM

Our moons must be aligning..:wow:

minimandy14 - 8-19-2005 at 09:25 PM
