Yeah, he's a little Alex-esque. I added them even though he's rockin' that fake British accent.

minimandy14 - 11-24-2005 at 11:02 AM

Yea definatly sounds alot like a british alex-ish-ness. . . . . .

7cut - 11-25-2005 at 12:47 AM

Thanks.I am gothic, but that's not me in the pic. I just admire her, I wish that was me. She's pretty. She's the lead singer of the band Lacuna Coil. One of my favorite band. Speaking of pic, I just put up some new pic on myspace. Check them out!

7cut - 11-26-2005 at 05:13 AM

weird...she looks so much younger
in the avatar than on the official band
shots.

minimandy14 - 11-26-2005 at 07:51 AM

UGH! I hate lacuna coil! They are just like evenesance. . . . ewe!

No nuts in Belgium, just crappy beer & potatoes. How's that cold going?

7cut - 11-26-2005 at 12:13 PM

ooh, i just got an email from DylerPlummer. what fun.

arggggh, i´m doing better but have to attend a stupid stupid housy party tonite for my head honcho (= boss-to-be) is djing there and i have to go there for contract negotiations...urgh urgh. oh well.
hope it won´t be that bad. Louie Austen is performing there...but i would have rather liked to attend the "Bavarian Open" --Cobra Killer are playing there, along with many others. I´ve been told i look like the short-haired girl from Cobra Killer but i don´t think so.

minimandy14 - 11-26-2005 at 01:14 PM

Hmmm sounds like fun?

7cut - 11-27-2005 at 02:30 AM

aaaaaaaaaaaw, i went there with my sister and she sort of fell in love with that guy from Klein Rec., my boss-to-be. :o (he is indeed very charming) was talking with him and a co-worker like mad and told me her next bf would have to be Austrian. and it went REAL smooth. we never talked about contract details, just drank and fooled around!!! (at one drunk point i giggled and told him "haha, lately i googled you ..i was just sorta bummed and bored". And the music was electronic but far from bad - alas alas the people were. Uboot people --like some German-lingo internet community, i suppose they met each other in person there for the first time. god, really weird people. from hillbilly ravers to fat-bottomed girls to kilt-wearing guys to an old guy with leathery pants looking like a Led Zeppelin fanatic looking like this smilie -> :cool2: And we shaked hans with Louie. "LA is my lady" he said.

Sounds like everything went smooth. See, you were worried about nothing. You've gotta invite me to the next one ;) How was Austen anyway?

7cut - 11-27-2005 at 03:47 AM

Austen was "tres chic". White suit as usual, kinky pimp loafers, glamour glasses and hat - all Vegas crooner style (encore: "My Way" and he engaged in a "Disco Dancer" of Christopher Just cover). People adored him. If i´d been a little more sloshed, i´d have danced -
oh lame excuse! ooh, i´m still not over
having missed Zombocombo on Thursday
yet...i would have made a good villain.

poobs - 11-27-2005 at 10:27 AM

I don't think this guy sounds anything like Alex..At all..

JunoRedneck - 11-27-2005 at 11:28 AM

Me neither. I just don't hear the similarity.

Evil - 11-28-2005 at 12:30 AM

they sent me a message last week. hmmm. i don't think they sound like alex or ima robot, but i like the one song "groovin."

Noisemonster - 11-28-2005 at 05:04 AM

i don't like that band. i miss some 'spice' in their songs. errrm, the singer does sound a bit like alex.. sometimes.

corkey16 - 11-28-2005 at 11:56 AM

Is it me or aren't they using alot of Ima Robot wording like "twist-n-shout" "move it kids" and there's another one they use that is just like something they would say or already said.

minimandy14 - 11-28-2005 at 03:12 PM

Hmmmmm I do like that song "groovin'" a bit too.

Sarbear - 11-29-2007 at 12:46 PM

I can see where the singer sounds like alex in parts, but it's hard for me to really listen and think OMG THIS IS ALEX EBERT. I do like them though. Thank you.

IMAKFRIED - 12-31-2007 at 06:32 PM

Nothing compares to alex.

IMAKFRIED - 1-5-2008 at 12:01 PM

Wow its funny how you see totally different people when your just browsing posts, while its all the same people on today's posts.

robotkelsey - 7-1-2008 at 08:02 PM

check out a band called oliver future. ima robot 2.0

ToxicAvenger27 - 7-3-2009 at 09:46 AM

while im diggin the Written House stuff, i dont think its alex. he can get a lil out there with his voice, but the Master Ebert blows him out of the water still. the yelps and howls are way cooler in Ima's stuff.

i will also have to investigate this Patrick Wolf character.
