Anyone hear of this Japanese Yakuza-style garage rock band? They just played some crazy song about Cranberries by them on the radio and I was instantly hooked.

Also, I just won tickets to Stereolab on Friday, yeeeeahh!

Lucky dog!! Where the hell are you? If Friday is the 10th, they're not showing a date on the 10th(just lookin' out for ya kiddo). I see they're coming to LA....WOOO!!! Thanks for the heads up!!

Despite the bad Pitchfork review (blech, pitchfork, ptewie) I am excited about the Stereolab show. They are here in Mpls playing First Ave on Friday.

Next week I find out if I matched for residency in L.A. - I miss shows at The Troub and Spaceland...:(

keep my fingers crossed for ya Drac. It would be nice to see ya again. A student from Idaho here at the University I'm working at was going to his first show @ The Troub, and I told him about the seats up top when I saw the Bot. He was stoked. I have to find out what he thought.

Oh man..Good luck, Drac!! Ima Robot shows just aren't the same without you! You are the reason I discovered them in the first place!

Drac is the reason most of us found about them! :)

apparently that site is too foreign to access. I can't figure what to click to listen to them. :duh:

Yeah, their site is a little too...Japanese. I haven't tried iTunes yet, but something tells me they might be a bit obscure for them.
