Calling All Dutch!

I need a little help from any of you kids in The Netherlands. I'm looking to get four or five copies of the magazine BLEND, the one on sale now. I believe it's issue #10 and this is the photo on the cover:

I could possible pick them up on May 28th. as I'll be in Alphen a/d Rijn for one day. I'll be your best friend. . .

The only Dutch member Jette disappeared some time ago........ Can't you get Dutch magazines somewhere in Cologne, maybe at the Hauptbahnhof?

I'm in California right now, that's the only reason I posted here. I won't be back in Cologne till next month and I think it'll be too late then.

My sister is in the middle. They didn't give her any copies of the actual magazine, just photos. I guess she wants the magazine for when she's old & gray.

Yeah, my pop was in the air force. We moved when I was really young but we went back when I was ten or eleven. But that was ages ago.

Yeah, my husband works on base too. There was a rumor that it might be closing down, but I doubt it. Plus, Warner Robins population is growing like crazy. They are now trying to make all the main roads 3 lane so the traffic will be most stable.

I know! :lol: Dick Chenney came here about 5 months ago and they close the whole base down, not letting anyone come on base or get off base cause of security. He gave this boring ass speech and then when off to play golf. :rolleyes: He was acting kind of stuck up and really didn't shake anyones hand or greet them. What a dumbass.

OK, so I'm trying to get it here in Frankfurt. But I doubt that they sell it here.. I'm in Cologne from time to time.. or I could send it to you via mail if I get it.

hmmm, sorry, they did not have it - neither in Frankfurt nor in Cologne. Didn't think that it would be that hard to get Dutch magazines. :rolleyes:

All right, well thanks for looking. I've got a couple friends in Amsterdam on the hunt so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I'm going on tour with some friends for a month. We'll be in Frankfurt & Cologne and the est of Europe all of June. Should be tons of fun.

That girl in the middle did strike me, she reminded me of this Dutch actrice who I find really cool:

I was able to get a bunch of copies from a friend in Amsterdam last month, but thanks for responding. I traded her a shitload of Nyquil for the magazines. Kind of weird to me that in a country where I could score all the shrooms & hash I wanted ,over the counter cold medication is illegal. Wacky Dutch.

Her name's Halina Reijn. She's actually trying to make it in America now, I think. She was there for a year atleast, but shes back now I think. Not that I follow her life that much but while she was in the US she wrote a weekly column for a magazine I read.

yep, i will. currently hunting down a new appartment to live for my boy and me. we´ll definately be there till the end of the year, maybe even till january. then monaco di baviera, my one and only, will have me again and i might open my own label.

Heheh well yeah its not hard to remember for 3 reasons: 1) its the same as Brody Dalle, but shes a girl, 2) I think its better on a boy, 3) you talk about him all the time :D
