X-Men: The Last Stand

corkey16 - 5-27-2006 at 02:15 PM

I know that most of you have plans to go and see the new X-Men movies or most of you have already seen it. For the ones that are planning to see it soon.... don't. Save your money and go out and do something else cause....IT SUCKED ASS!!! For real!!! I was so disappointed!!!!!! Except for fine ass Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) !!!

Despite this post, I decided on seeing it. And you were quite right. I think loads of people are going to be disappointed. Basically 2 hours of nonsense. And the ending?

I saw ”The Da Vinci Code" this weekend....
tsk. bad. esp. the last half an hour and ending.
Should have watched "Hostel" instead - was at
least recommended by Quentin Tarantino.

Yeah, the Da Vinci Code was pretty weak..I couldn't believe how dry the acting was in some parts. Now I know enough to not trust anything made by the guy who played Richie on Happy Days.

oh did he? Is it true P**** H*****´s Mom appeared in Happy Days also? Wikipedia claimed that she did.
She must have been a teenager back then....

Personally, I liked it..I've read the book twice and I thought they did a really good job turning it into a movie..I mean, there's SO MUCH in the book and I think the movie dragged a bit when having to explain everything, but all in all, I dug it..And don't EVER diss Ron Howard!! He's awesome!!

Am still to read the book..so I'm trying to put off watching the film, as it seems to me that films are never as good as the books..like Brett easton ellis books made into films.

I liked it better than X-Men. X-Men was really weak. I thought Ron Howard did great with it. I like that he put just alittle action in the movie to make it less boring.

The action was in the book..He didn't add any new action scenes or anything..I liked the way they did like background images when explaining things..That looked pretty sweet..

You should TOTALLY read the book..I feel like there was so much to tell and it's easier following it all when you're reading it, you know? But the movie does a pretty good job of explaining it all, too..I don't know..

I LOVED IT! SCREW EVERYONE WHO DIDNT LIKE IT DID YOU GUYS STAY TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE CREDITS!

corkey16 - 6-2-2006 at 11:06 AM

No, I was to pissed off to stay. I just don't believe that it was the last X-Men movie. The way they didn't include some of them in it and how it ended. Guess I would have to rent it and see what happened after the credits.

JunoRedneck - 6-2-2006 at 12:30 PM

My friend and I got really stoned before we saw it, so I thought it was amazing... and confusing.

poobs - 6-2-2006 at 05:30 PM

Nice signature, Juno..I just watched that epi the other day..:duh: And I heard this wasn't the last X-Men movie..

corkey16 - 6-3-2006 at 10:04 PM

I hope not. They claim that it was the last one cause the actors didn't want to sign another contact, or whatever it's called that actors sign, cause of money issues. So they just came up with a story line that had nothing to do with the comics. Plus rumor of a new Wolverine movie. Hmmm, more of fine ass Hugh Jackman, I got to go see that when it comes out!!!!
