so i woke up this morning to find my ipod completely dead, tried everything and the screen is just black. i think it could be the battery but
it's only like 9 or 10 months old. this same thing happened to my last one. i'm totally torn because i love it, but it's way too much
money.

it wont turn on when you plug it in?
if it does i know a great site to get batteries fo cheap.

no, completely gone. i'm pretty sure a new battery is all it needs. what have you got? the ones i saw were like $65 which is better than 300
for a new ipod but still.

if the battery is dead, it should still turn on when its plugged in. but the site i used was

a cool trick is to start checkout, go far enough where you have your email address entered in, but before you do the credit card or whatever, and then

you think it's worth a try if it won't even light up when it's plugged in.

no. it should function like normal while plugged in if its the battery. my hold switch went bad and made it hard to un-hold it to be able to turn it
on. it could possibly be that, or some other hardware problem.
