Her punishment does not fit the crime..It's ridiculous..She's being used as an example..It's nice to see that she's just sitting and doing her time quietly now, though..

Ya know, if it was you or me, non-famous people, we would be doing probably like 2 and a half months in jail or more, plus community work for like 2 weeks, plus probation for another month. All she got was 45 days so Paris can't complain one bit. She got off pretty good.

No she didn't..And no we wouldn't..People have even come out in the press saying this is a harsher punishment than the crime usually has..I'm not saying she doesn't deserve to go to jail..It anything, it should be a wake up call..But normal people wouldn't have been made to serve even half of this time, and of that time, they wouldn't have served more than a tenth of that time..I just think it sucks the judge didn't want to appear too soft on "celebrities" and wanted to make an example out of her..

Now, if Lindsey Lohan doesn't get jail time for crashing her car while drunk under the age of 21 and having coke in the car AND fleeing the scene of an accident, I'm going to be a bit puzzled..:yawn:

And, FYI, you should actually know what you're talking about if you're going to spew such ridiculous shit..She was let out after 23 days because that's the norm for county jail!! You usually get at least half of your time off for good behavior..Us common folk probably wouldn't have even served that long..And there have been many studies showing that her punishment really didn't fit the crime..Case in point.. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/la-me-paris14jun14,1...

Poobs, you're giving her way too much credit!!!! I had a friend who just got a DUI and he spent a month in jail plus 2 weeks probation. She got a DUI first, plus she had a suspended license on top of that. They just gave her probation at first, then she got a speeding ticket and she was drunk so that's what made her go to jail for driving drunk while on probation. The judge sentenced her to 45 days in court for how she handled it. I thought the judge's was not being fair at her at all. But what I really want to who is, how the hell can you get out of jail for a medical problem just because you're Claustrophobic?!?! Whatever, the girl acts like a child!!! I'm not full of hate, I just think it was unfair ruling, that's all. :)

I was never in jail so I never got out early..:P And you can say she has no talent, but she's made a name for herself without being a serious actress or..Right..Anything with talent..That's talent right there! Corkey, she wasn't drunk and speeding..Her first offense was a DUI..The other two were for driving on a suspended license..Nothing alcohol related..Your friend must have done something else because no one will be put in jail for their first DUI..Maybe a night, but not a month..And I could always bring up the argument that an ex of my friend got a DUI..I think his second within a few years..Then he led police on a chase on his motorcycle and, when they finally got him, found coke and weed on him and all he got was house arrest..THEN he violated that within the first day by drinking, and he STILL didn't go to jail! AND he got arrested for domestic abuse, but spent less than a night in county..How the fuck did this guy get away with all of this?? I'm sorry, but I'd rather that this asshole go to jail than P**** H*****..And really go back and read your posts..You don't think you come off as angry and crazy?

One more thing that I'll repeat, I think she should have gone to jail for sure..I think she thought she could get away with anything since she is who she is..I think it's a nice wake-up call..I DO think the sentence was too long and she spent more time in than most of us would have..But, it's over and hopefully she'll do some good..:)
