I'm cracking up at this email from Phobiac, you will all enjoy it I think. Hopefully it's okay with him that it is being broadcast to all of mankind:
"Went for a little four miler to get the lead out.
On my run there were like 6 or 7 kids hiding in the bushes with water ballons. One shot a ballon at me and it hit my foot. The kids were about 16
years old. My first reaction (fight or flight) was fight. So I charge these kids, hurdling some bushes to get to their fortress of twigs. They all
make a brake for it and in the craziness they left their rubbermaid tub of 30-50 water ballons.
They all ducked into their garage which was across the street. I just started launching one after another at them. It was so much fun and I don't
think that they were expecting such a one-sided water ballon fight; at least not from this side. I got in a good couple of critical hits on a curly
haried surfer kid, right to the head, as he peeked his head out of the garage."

How come I couldn't have been running by at that point?? I could have hurled some from a female perspective :D

I didn't know that the story would go past hotmail. Ohh well.
It was a strange reaction. In mid-stride I just turned around to chase whoever threw whatever at me. Good thing they scattered, becuase if they
stayed that could have been really interesting; Close range water-ballon fight!
The funny part was their garage was trashed by all the ballons I threw at them. I'm sure they'll get chewed out by their parents. Should give them a
fun story to tell about their weekend.
I'm headed back out there now, hopefully they're back at it again. I'll have to take a different approach this time. Maybe a little recon mission is
required.
