Vem aí: Ima Robot

23/06/2003

My Portuguese is a bit rusty and my English is a bit broken:

When it drops the bustle of the "return of the rock", always space arises for that new bands, with a peculiar proposal, appear in the international setting. That it is the case of the Ima Robot, group that signed I hire recently with the Virgin and that will be thrown soon in Brazil.

The Ima Robot was considerado by the critic specialized like a more more artistic project, that mixture glam with electronic music and powders punk. A sort of David Bowie with I Must with Television.

Between his members, they detach themselves Justin Meldal Johnson (short) and Joey Waronker (battery), pair that worked joint with the Beck, Macy Gray and others. Beyond them, the andrógino vocalista Alex Ebert also promises attract a lot attention.

Confer a video of the Ima Robot in action and stretch of some music, clicando here (requer Real Video). It awaits more news and the announcement of the launching of the COMPACT DISK soon, here in the site from the they GO Music.

Here's another spin on it. I'm sure you already got it though.

The there doesn't appear to be anything on the horizon...the "return of rock", there always appears to space so that new bands, with a different proposal, appear in the international scene.

This is the case of the Ima Robot, a group that signed with Virgin recently and that it will be launched in Brazil. Ima Robot was considered by the critics as a more artistic project, that it mixes glam with electronic music and late-punk. Part David Bowie with I must watch Television. Among its members, they is the distinguished Justin Meldal-Johnson (bass) and Joey Waronker (drums), the pair worked together with the Beck, Macy Gray and others. Beside them, the vocals are from the androgenous Alex Ebert who promises to attract much attention. A video of the Ima Robot is in action and some segments of musics, click here (it requires Video Real). Soon there will be more new features and the announcement of the launching of the COMPACT DISC in briefing, here in the site of EMI Music.
