So..I'm super exhausted but thought I should write about last night's show..First off, what an awesome venue for a show! The courtyard of a museum!
And my friend's friend got us on the VIP list so we got colorful wristbands and got access to the super secret areas..It wasn't as exciting as I was
hoping..Aaanywho, they started with Om Nashi Me..Next was 40 Day Dream, I believe..After that, it's all a blur..I think I got high off of the B.O.
fumes from the dirty ass hippy kids around me..The songs they did, that I can remember, were...
Om Nashi Me
40 Day Dream
Janglin
Come In Please
Up From Below
Home
Carries On
Desert Song
Black Water
Kisses Over Babylon (Alex thought it was going to be Brother but the band started playing Kisses instead and was like.."Oh..We're doing Desperado?")
I'm not sure about the order except for the first 2 and the last 2 songs..And I think I'm missing a song..
As far as merch, they had a few t-shirts..The one I wanted to get for Brody only came as a girl's shirt which I thought was super weak, but the others
are alright..There are 2 with the same design (the pic of them on top of the bus with their name under or something) on cream or light blue
shirts..Then there were like..3 others I think..
Annoying crowd for the most part, but what do you expect from LA? I'm not sure what the crowds will be like anywhere else, but our crowd was jumping
and dancing and getting a little aggressive, which was really surprising to me..I thought it would be a pretty chill audience..I mean, they were dirty
hippies, but being super pushy and kind of rude..Ahh well..I thought they sounded AMAZING! I already knew Alex is the shit live, but the band didn't
miss a beat and sounded beautiful..Though I had fun, I must say that I really miss Alex's frantic energy from the Ima shows..He's so much more
subdued, which I guess is the point of the band, but I missed his crazy little body twitches..All in all, a great show..Glad I went..Not glad I wore
flippy floppies..Umm..That's all I've got..I have pics on my camera but I need some time to recover from a long ass night and long ass day today..

I didn't see any vinyl..I think they had some posters and I'm really regretting not getting one of those..And..I think they had a mousepad!! To be
honest, the merch area was kind of a mess and not very organized so I could have missed some stuff..But they did have free lollipops which all of the
hipster girls jumped on..

There you go..That's the song I left out..Did I mention that people jumped on stage for Kisses Over Babylon? Some guy pushed through the crowd and
asked "can we get on stage?" and Alex was like "Sure! Just don't step on the pedals..I did that once and it was not good.." The stage was PACKED!
