Any Good scary movies out there? Ones that actually had you terrified while you were watching it?

I've heard Paranormal Activity is awesome..We're tightening our belts so entertainment is out for a bit..I'm so bummed cuz I totally want to see it!
I'm not very good with scary movies for the most part, though..

That is the reason I brought this thread up, because we just got back from Paranormal Activity, and I don't like scary movies so I was tense all the
way through, but Justy and 12equals3 laughed at the entire thing and then was very disappointed because it wasn't scary. So I was hoping to find a
movie for them that would actually scare them.

Deadgirl. Mother-pancake-flipping Deadgirl. It's a really dark story about two friends in highschool skipping class one day and trying out a new hang
out that JT (one of the friends) finds.
After walking and conversating, they arrive at the abandoned mental hospital and then it's a quick montage of them going nuts in there to some punk
music.
Later, they find the underground passages between the buildings and find a door that's nearly rusted shut. A little effort later, they're behind the
door, and the find a girl, naked, chained to a table. JT jokes around and touches the girl, assuming she's most likely dead by now. He soon proposes
that he and Ricky (the other friend) keep her, starting a fight.
The rest of the movie is JT becoming obsessed with the "Deadgirl" and how that affects their friendship. Ending is pretty "WTF" inducing and there's a
lot of psychological horror.
Hope that helps
