I made it in. Spent 3.5 hours outside in the rain, got to chat with Mr. Ebert a bit. He's awesome, he gave guest passes to a lot of people and was
really trying to make sure everyone could get in. The two friends I came with got on the guest list for the show at the Mayan tonight, so they left,
while I was still waiting hoping to get a ticket.
Eventually, a stranger gave me one, out of the blue and for free. It was amazing. I've never had a stranger act so kind, and it both made my night,
and perhaps year, but it also renewed my faith in humanity. As expected, the show was fantastic. Fool's Gold was great, and ESTMZ were brilliant, it
was the best show I've ever been to, period.
