have you ever watched A Very Potter musical?

Sarbear - 10-6-2010 at 04:56 PM

Yes I have. I have also watched Potter Puppet Pals, and there is also a claymation of the deathly hallows...

Honestly..I'm really tempted to do the midnight screening for this one..Buuuut I'll probably just settle for first screening of the next day..I'm not THAT big of a nerd!

i used to love reading the books. and then i sort of slowed down on the movies, i haven't seen the latest one. FML

i need to

Sarbear - 10-7-2010 at 02:29 AM

Half Blood Prince is... Ok. It's better then how much crap they cut out of the Order of the Phoenix. But the Dumbledor death scene...sketchy

MESinc. - 10-7-2010 at 03:39 PM

Sweet! And my roommate was just telling me about the potter puppet pals thing, is that any good?

I'm so glad that they're making this into two movies. They just cannot leave anything out like they did the last few. Deathly Hallows is the kind of book where pretty much everything is important, and I really hope that they do it justice.

I listen to MuggleCast and 2 of the people on that show have scene the movie and they dont want to give it all away, they did say that it stays true to the book. Very True to the book. The movie is a running time of about 2 and a half hours. Almost Rated R for the violence and gore (I think that's more of the second part) but decided to make it pg13 because of WB wanting more money.

acalliopemusical - 10-11-2010 at 06:25 AM

i cannot wait! harry potter is my favorite...actually ron weasley is, but that is just because i have a thing for gingers!

Sarbear - 11-19-2010 at 12:10 AM

SOOO GOOD, very true to the book. Couldn't have ended in a better spot. As a super hp nerd i would have liked a bit more background details on a few of the hallows and horcruxes but other then that...favorite hp movie yet. And Harry with some facial stubble....mmm

poobs - 11-20-2010 at 05:16 PM

Yep..Amazing..The way they did the animation for the Deathly Hallows story was so cool! I loved it..Every second..I was a big crybaby face for a lot of it..I don't want them to end!! :(

Sarbear - 11-20-2010 at 07:08 PM

Yes, the Story of the 3 bothers...mmm I want to know who did the animation for that because I want to see other work that they have done.

I have never cried harder in a theater then I did when Dobby died.

JKR needs to start writing more books, is what needs to happen.

acalliopemusical - 11-20-2010 at 07:59 PM

agreed...i haven't seen the movie yet; i'm waiting for my best friend to get back! ahh...anticipation is killing me.

poobs - 11-20-2010 at 10:03 PM

Agreed, SarMama..I jumped on The Tales of Beedle the Bard when it came out..I would lap up anything she puts out that's Harry Potter related..She better get cracking! She's not getting any younger or richer! Well..I'm sure she's getting richer day by day but whatever..

I seriously can't wait to see the movie again..Ron gets my heart all aflutter..His body is all filled out and yummy in this one..And can Emma Watson get any freaking prettier?? She's just lovely in every way..

Ok..that's enough geekiness from me today..Til tomorrow! Excelsior!

Sarbear - 11-21-2010 at 08:34 AM

I have a HUGE crush on Emma Watson.

Poobies, did you see the JKR interview with Opera? I never watch her show but when I heard that JKR was going to be on there...

Anyways, she stated that she has enough information to be writing 8,9 and 10. But she doesn't want to. She doesn't want to write them because of popular demand, she wants to write them because it feels right to her. BUT I heard a rumor that she's working on the Harry Potter Encyclopedia. And I dont know when that will come out, but it will be like the HP Bible.

acalliopemusical - 11-25-2010 at 08:37 PM

WARNING: HP7 spoiler alert if you haven't read it/seen it. i am not to be held responsible for the ruining of the pt. 1 ending.
********************************************************************************************************

sorrrrrrrrrrrry just saw that shizzz two days ago and it was so oooooooooooo good. too much cliff hanger. i personally thought they should have ended on the beach with dobby's burial. although i was BALLLLLLLLLLLLLING my eyes out. but i wasn't nearly as pissed/upset as i was when watching voldemort's dirty ol' dumb hands TOUCHING dumbledore! the nerve!?! who does he think he is??? i just couldn't even bear it.

acalliopemusical - 11-25-2010 at 08:39 PM

Sarbear - 11-26-2010 at 02:37 PM

I was wondering if you did that on purpose or by accident. I was impressed.
