Do you have a deadline? I'm getting my pc back tomorrow and I would love to give it a shot if I can.

neckbeard - 8-16-2011 at 04:11 PM

nope. no deadline, i'm still waiting for some of my footage to come back.

i filmed Bling too...but it's even more dark than this. hahaha. next time i see them, i'll get my photo pass and not be a loser like this trip.

THANKS man!

thank you sir!
ive tried a little bit in final cut....not a whole lot of luck.

any other programs that might help?

Dynomite2140 - 8-16-2011 at 05:08 PM

Well, I got a couple ideas and a really bootleg theory that may just work. I could throw these clips through WMM and turn all the frames into images and run them through my epic skillzzz with Photoshop if all else fails.

Dynomite2140 - 8-16-2011 at 05:09 PM

By the way, you have 100 karma now. How the fudge does that SHEIZA happen??!!?!

neckbeard - 8-16-2011 at 05:15 PM

hahahahahha thank you to whomever praised me. so awesome.

and that's pretty genius man. hopefully it works out.

Dynomite2140 - 8-16-2011 at 05:36 PM

Well, depending on how my first idea goes, I may not need to do that. The process is long, even for just a few seconds, but hey it gives me something to do.

If it works out tomorrow, I tell ya what I did for future reference.

Took a quick look at upping the exposure in Final Cut X, but it was pretty dark so I don't think your cam captured anything in the dark areas.

Maybe Dynomite2140 can make it pop.

Phobiac.

neckbeard - 8-16-2011 at 09:21 PM

well it does look better than before.
yeah i regret not using negative film, i knew it was going to get dark.
and i wasnt sure how well Super 8 looks at night haha

thanks for trying Phobs! how is Final Cut X? awesome?

Yes, maybe I can make it pop a wee bit more than that. Had no idea it was that dark though, so this may need some experimentation.

But no matter what, I will conquer!! Huzzah!!!

For what I do, I like it. Which is pretty basic stuff. It's like me and photoshop. I use about 2% of what it can do. Or it's like me and my brain too...I guess.
