Note: This date is without Hot Hot Heat (who will be performing with the French Kicks and the Joggers during that period).

Note #2: This booking comes courtesy of Pollstar.

Note #3: It kicks ass, doesn't it?

My big "claim to fame" with this thread is that I got to say hello to Dave Navarro once.

We were both outside the Kodak Theater waiting for our cars to be brought by the valet service at a charity concert put on by the Entertainment Industry Foundation. (I was invited at the last minute and sat in a $1,000 seat, for which I didn't have to pay, natch.)

He was with Carmen, and in person she is teeny tiny and truly stunningly gorgeous.

I had just seen a bit in the paper about Jane's Addiction getting ready to work up a new album (which has since been released, of course), and asked him about it.

So I go to see a close-up of the hand-tattoos.

RE: Opening for Jane's Addiction, Sept. 27, 2003

I was one of the 200 max. (in a 2,800 seat theatre) who suffered
through the Robot's juvenile, opening act set. Alex dressed as an MJ double
from the "Thriller" video didn't impress much, either.

Far and away Dave Navarro's night, though. That you
should feel disappointed to have missed - included a drum duet on "Three Days".

Saw Jane's in L.A. this past New Years Eve. They've only gotten better with time, imo.

Sorry you didn't like Ima Robot, feel free to visit the Download Center and see if anything from them there suits you better.

and after you are done downloading all the files, be sure to check back in 6 months and tell us how Ima Robot is your favorite band.

And we'll pretend this never even happened.
