A friend of ours just got back from yesterday's KROQ Inland Invasion - the daylong fest populated by classic 80s acts like The Cure, Bow Wow Wow,
Violent Femmes, and young guns like Hot Hot Heat and Jet.
Word on the street is that the single most promoted band of the day was Ima Robot, with every pole papered in album info and an airplane banner
plugging the band.
Definitely good for word of mouth. I'm still struck by how many people are surprised at how great they are after seeing them live, stating that
they had never even heard about the band before.
