It's a woman singing it and it's pretty old..My friend and I have this as "our" song and I'm burning a cd for her and want to put it on there..Anyone? Michelle??

I put in "I'd gladly risk it all", and the only women singers I saw were Macy Gray, and Frente. Let me know if that helps. I've heard the phrase I'd gladly risk it all somewhere before, so now you can add me to the list of people going crazy to figure out what song a lyric is from.

Hey, I think the original singer of that song was Chaka Kahn. I believe it's called "Through the Fire". Pretty song....Remember from like the 80's and she is a black lady with a big head of hair. Wow, Macey Gray did that song too?
