Tonights Astoria show

Just got back from tonights gig where i equally enjoyed ImaRobot and Junior Senior who half way through their set praised ImaRobot and called them a great bunch of guys..

The Astoria isn't one of the best places to see a band unless there's quite a lot of people in there which wasn't the case as they were on so early but those that were there seemed to enjoy the show...

They started with Song #1,then followed this with Dirty life,A is for action,Alive (one of my faves),Std dance,Dynamite,Black jettas (excellent),Scream,12 = 3 and lastly Here come the bombs..
Bring on Saturday as the Metro gig should be a great one..

So did they sound like you thought they would sound? Thanks for checking in--I was curious to see if they would debut any B-sides; maybe at the Metro!

Yeah they did.. That was the fourth time i'd seen em and this time round i knew most of the songs as i'd picked the album up way before christmas so i was waiting for certain songs (no let's talk turkey which was a shame) so when they started each song i was like yes it's so and so etc..
The Metro gig should be a lot better as it's a better venue, the sound won't be so hollow and they'll have a longer set..

How did your daughter like it? Were you able to take pictures? Did you get a chance to talk to the guys? Glad you had fun! :D

No photos as they took my camera off of me as we walked in but at the Metro it should be fine.. Jennifer loved it as did the few other people who came.. We saw the boys leave but didn't give chase (ha ha) as Junior Senior where still playing so i'll have a word on Saturday at the Mwtro.

MWHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! WHAT A NIGHT!!!

I loved it!!! They played the big 5 (A is for Action - Dynomite - 12=3 - Song #1 - Here Come The Bombs), STD Dance ('Has Anyone Got an STD? WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!!), Black Jetta's, Dirty Life & Scream.
(thats not the order, the order is in Dyler's post, but they played Alive before A is For Action)

10 SONGS IN 30 MINUTES!!!!

Ah guys....you should have chased them down before they left. Try and get photos at the next show! You should get some autographs too. That's cool your daughter liked them. Man, I would have missed Junior Senior to go talk to them. Have a great time at the next gig-----;)

Yeah, Lomax was too busy trying to swipe the set list...Heheheheh!

I hope no one stage dives at the 9:30 Club in DC, that's quite a high second floor. An old friend of mine broke her nose stage diving from the old Hammerjacks at a Ramones show......
