Word on the street is that the Houston Warped date has rained out. Woe be to those of you who had tickets!

Ima Robot always gets hit with the weather and social unrest--the brownouts in NYC, the workers' strike in Paris, and now this. Good to hear they have a resched.

:o that stinks....atleast they rescheduled it.

I have an idea! Tell the Bot's management to put them on the Curiosa tour! They're still adding bands....hmmm'...that would be incredible!

Ok...we all know that the Lallapalooza 2004 Tour has been cancelled as well....I think that some of those bands should move over to the Curiosa 2004 Tour:

Flaming Lips
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
The Thrills
Sonic Youth
The Datsuns
Morrissey ( well, maybe not)....

...and definitely steal The Sounds and Ima Robot from The Warped Tour....oh...the possibilities! I'd be in heaven...one could dream I guess.

They seem to fit the Curiosa bill better than Warped, I must admit..BUT, as long as they are added after July 3!!!

:D oh, your going to see the Warped Tour on July 3rd? Wow...that should be fun....hopefully they serve beer so you can get drunk while some of the shitty bands are playing. I'd have to through beer cans at some of those bands...I mean they really suck. Poor Ima & The Sounds.....

No beer for me!! I hate drinking at outdoor festivals..Actually, I don't like drinking at concerts period..It makes me focus on so much crap other than the band, you know? I'll just be sitting at the stage where they're going to play all day, so hopefully a few good ones will be there..

I would seriously go only to se ImaR @ Warped but I can't miss work.

yeah...the beer thing I may skip as well... I don't want to be at the bathroom all day. Now the doobage I can deal with...mmm'hmmm'.......or brownies for that matter...then I can sneak it in easier...yeah, brownies sound good. Brownies and pavillion seats for the Cure and Interpol.....yeah...sounds like a go.

I think the only bands on the Warped tour that I'd be interested in seeing would be:

Ima Robot, NOFX, Bad Religion and The Sounds...

I didn't see much else on there that I dug too much....there were so many bands listed I could have overlooked some....most of the bands seemed kinda MTV-ish...like Lillix...didn't they do a tampon commercial or something..oops...a contact lens commercial, sorry.

I heard it wasn't even raining most of the day in Houston, the day it go cancelled that is. However at the Dallas venue it rained the ENTIRE day and it did not get cancelled. Pretty odd I think. I do agree that nearly every single band on the tour sucks ass. I just went for the Sounds and because I got in free. I'm new to IMA Robot, as you can see. Better late than never though, right?

Oooh.....I just got an email from TheCure.com to win a trip to California for the Curiosa show...not sure which show in what part of California...but I entered...wish me luck...I'd love to visit California...haven't been since I was 19! Hmmmmm....for the mean time...has anyone else gone to the Warped shows?

:o that would be so cool. They didn't say which show in California or how many days you get to stay. I wonder if it's like a two day thing? I hope they would cover airfare, hotel and front row! I'd poo too if I won. I'm still trying to win tix even though I have 2 of them, just in case they're better seats. Then I can sell the ones I have.
