There has gotta be some Robert Johnson fans on here. They say he sold his soul to the devil for his guitar playing skills and created rock and roll.

I reckon it's probably true, it's all re-enacted in that Ralph Macchio movie "Crossroads"

I like Johnson a lot, though I'm a much bigger fan of a few other bluesmen

Skip James is my favorite... Charley Patton is pretty great too... can't go wrong there. Blind Willie Johnson. Mississippi John Hurt. All every bit as great as Robert Johnson, imo.
