My faith in humanity..

has been somewhat restored..On my way home from dropping Brody at school, I pass by this huge park..As I was passing by, I noticed a little turtle in the bike lane heading for the street! I turned around and parked and ran over to him..By the time I got there, 2 other cars had stopped and were already helping him back to the little pond! It was just cool to see people stopping traffic to help a little turtle..I mean..How many people would have just passed it or eventually hit it? I know it's small, but it put a big smile on my face..I wanted to hug those people that stopped along with me..:D

That is so sweet!!!:D I also stop for squarrels. I made a mistake long ago a hit a baby kitten by accident. I just stopped at the side of the road and cryed my eyes out. All the people in there cars were beeping there horn at me and saying "Better it than you Missy!!" I was like "How can the world be so cruel against animals. That was nice of you Poobs to help the turtle.:D

I was driving a while ago and there was a turlte in the middle of the road. I didn't hit it, thank the lord. I got out and grabbed it, then returned it to the creek. I think it was actually a turtle I had from a couple years ago. It was right by my house.

unfortunately it put us in this situation where we had to abandon a lot of babies, you know?

i´d always brake for an animal ...even if i was in danger of getting into a crash then. but i just couldn´t hit an animal..aaah no. i´ve once witnessed a cat being driven over by a woman and she sort of hit 3 legs ....the cat just crawled across the street and hid away to die. i wanted to get the vet there to put it to sleep but he couldn´t find her. the woman just drove off. i could have cried so much ..that was the most awful thing i ever had to see ...and hear. i hoped to forget about it actually.

I know..I know..But it was a nice thing to see..Another thing that happened..I was waiting at a stop light and I could tell the person in back of me wanted to pull into a driveway so I inched forward as much as possible to let her by and she made an extra effort to wave to me and make sure I saw it..It was very polite..It's the little things..

Yeah, that happened to my mom too, and I've always told her to wave when a driver does something nice. So when that happened, I was like, "See!! That person waved! You have to wave when someone does that now, it's a polite thing to do." And she was like, "Oh okay." Yeah... that's my story...

Or you could just wink at them. I like to wink at people. It confuses them.

I like to laugh at people when they're really aggressive on the road..It seriously pisses them off..That, and waving..

it broke my heart when we had to put two cats to sleep, Elvis and Piri...in 2003 and 2001. Elvis was so sick he´d not get off his chair and Piri ended up being so sick he´d get tired of life and would bang his head against the wall.
