THE WIZARD OF OZ
...was on tv again yesterday.
god, how much i´m loving it..
the munchkins, hahaha. just
cruel, tie a psycho killer on a
chair and make him watch the
singing munchkins in a 24-hour
loop and he´ll be all lovey-dovey
afterwards..any of you ever
played that "dark side of the
moon" record along to the movie?
heard a lot of theories on that but
never tried...

OH yea, the Dark Side of OZ is INSANE-ness, it's super duper awesome, you should try next time. You have to start playing the record/cd on the
third roar of the MGM lion at the very very beginning of the movie, and then it goes with it all through, it is pretty trippy.

i love its (techni)colours and esp. that
they only made the wonderland
colourful and Kansas black/white.
And Judy Garland is the mother of
Liza Minelli. Amazing. (and Tippi
Hedren is the mom of Melanie
Griffith, not that amazing but still,
talking of mothers).

My old boy friend loved that song when it came out and he would drive places playing.
He would agree it was bad, but he loved it anyway.
so every time we went out he played it.
Drove (no pun intended) me nuts.

your parents listen to modern music?
god, you´re lucky. mine go for German
folk music / oldies and march music.
To them Beck already is heavy metal
and "too quirky" for my mom. I once
drove in the car with my Dad and played
a Devo tape and he was like "what´s the
noises the car is making?" and i stammed:
"errm, no Dad, that´s DEVO!"

OH no, my mom listens to modern RAP and all that junky music that's around today. She still listens to stuff from the 80's and 70
s and all the good oldies and junk, but the new music she listens to isn't good new music. . . and my step dad still just listens to oldies.

My parents like modern music as well. Infact, my mom likes Ima Robot.
Both my mom and dad like beck, radiohead...
but no rap. at least they are open to new stuff.
same way I like the old stuff.

My mom HATES ImaRobot. I don't even think my step dad has heard them. But she does like Radiohead. She told me the other day that she's
"not a big fan of Beck either" so I'm like . . . hmmm interesting. . . . . But she likes all that Ciara, Byonce' , and Pussycat
dolls, and usher ness. .. . . .which I personally can't stand. But it is nice when we listen to The Beatles.
