It sounds like Alex is done with Ima Robot, doesn't it? Like, how can he go back to being this awesomely manic person after this whole self realization shit? It just feels like he's looking at Ima Robot and their songs as a negative force..It really bums me out..

I wonder if they edited it to reflect that Jade had nothing to say or if she just didn't..The editing was pretty choppy so I'm going to assume they took some of her stuff out..But, I fucking love that they used that Starbucks shit from Best In Show! That moved them both up a few notches in my book..

I posted that even before the interview was 3 mins in. The editing was sketchy through out it. I'd like to see an un-edited version to get the dirty facts.

the questions are all pretty lame, but alex still goes off and gives some sentiments. His reflections on what he's doing really does sound like even if he came back to Ima, its going to be way different. The current songs (ruthless, peru, etc) def. show an evolution towards sounding something like ES anyways...

Also, jade screaming in the middle of the interview was pretty great

that scared the shit out of me, i minimized the window and was just listening to the audio and when she screamed it made me jump.
