I've been a Laker fan since I was 7 and the signing of Karl Malone is enough for me to change that.

I'm not real happy about it.

I wish they'd just signed GP and left Malone. *sigh*

It would hurt worse if he had gone straight to LA outta Seattle. I've already sorta made my peace with GP, he can do as he pleases. Nevertheless, it is pretty difficult for me to see my one-time bball hero play for my most hated team... but jesus, how deep is the LA roster gonna be next season? Assuming Kobe isn't in jail at that point.

Yea, they'll be deeper than last year, though I think they may be losing almost half the team. They still have a less than full roster, I think.

At least this season looks like it'll be better than last for the whole NBA... can't handle another Spurs / Nets finals...

I'll be civilised and not go off on Malone. I'Ll just say I'm hoping he proves not to understand the difficult triangle offense (after the mindless offense the Jazz ran) and he has to end his career playing behind Mark Madsen.
