Any Sid & Marty Krofft Fans?
Are there any fans out there of HR Pufnstuf, The Bugaloos, Land of the Lost, Lidsville and so on? I just got The World of Sid & Marty Krofft 3 DVD
set off of EBay! WoW! I use to watch their shows when I was a kid. What were Sid & Marty taking? Man, maybe that explains our generation! None the
less it's pretty freaky watching these as an adult (?).

Awww, yeah...I went to a Sid and Marty retrospective like five years ago and it was some weird shizz. I used to watch those when I was a kid, for
some reason it didn't seem so bizarre to me back then.
I would always freak out a little bit at the start of that space one when the captain of the ship thought the guy said "launch" instead of
"lunch." Not exactly six sigma quality control there.

Yeah, it's called "Far out Space Nuts", with Bob Denver (Gilligan). There's also other shows on there such as: "Sigmund &
the Sea Monster", "Dr. Shrinker", "WonderBug" (one of my favorites as a kid, I wanted a car like that when I grew up, and no,
I wasn't lucky enough to get one) and "Electrawoman and Dynagirl". There is one on there called "Bigfoot and Wildboy" (WTF?)
I don't remember that one. I'd love to experience whatever they were at the time and go to a Bot show. Somehow I think it would mesh very
well with thier music and visuals. I imagine they were fans of the Krofft's as well.
I love the colors in the shows!

Oh my GOD! I am HOME! Yes! Love Sid & Marty Kroft. I went to the convention back in 1998 @ The Beverly Hilton where they auctioned off original
animated cells, and costumes it was soo cool. Billy Barty was there, and the lady who played "WitchiePoo" plus Sid & Marty(at least I
think both of them were there) telling great stories. The actual HR Pufnstuf costume went for around $11,000, and rumor was the guy was bidding for
Michael Jackson. I think the flute went for around $6000, but what a trip down memory lane. Me & friends were playing the new Mario Kart the
other night on X-BOX, and one of the cars look like "Wonderbug" who was one of my favorite Volkswagens ever. :D

Yuk! Now we know what Michael Jackson was doing with those kids at Neverland. They should have known at the auction that something was wrong there.
Can you see him dressed as Pufnstuf, flaunting "Freddie" the flute. He should be put away just for that alone!
