Tour W/ Von Bondies

So it looks like there will be some European action for the guys. I'll post more info in this topic when I get it. Some links are available below. Also on the bill are Kasabian.

Looks like some May dates, and back in the States for Warped tour.

Reports are that the April 19th ICA gig is already sold out.

EDIT: .com has these dates starting 4/25 with the Glasgow gig. Plus, some German gigs and one Italy date have been added:

April 19 / London / ICA
April 20 / Bristol / Uni Anson Rooms
April 21 / Leeds / Blank Canvas
April 22 / Brighton / Concorde 2
April 24 / Liverpool / Academy
April 25 / Glasgow / Garage
April 26 / Manchester / Uni
April 27 / Birmingham / Irish Centre
April 29 / Portsmouth / Pyramids Center
April 30 / London / Astoria
May 1 - Amsterdam - Melkweg
May 4 - Berlin - Knaack
May 5 - Koln - Gebaeude
May 10 - Munich - Frerwerk
May 12 - Milan - Rainbow

Amsterdam

The presale has already begun for the Melkweg (Amsterdam) date May 1.

So it looks like we can eliminate Coachella this year!

So is Brighton and the Astoria..

This will be good for the Robot as there will be a good audience there but bad for people who wanna see ImaRobot as the two London gigs are already sold out... Hopefully they'll play a gig by themselves.. Metro again anyone?

Basically, don't get a ticket to anything before the Glasagow date, untill its cleared up. Maybe it's Kasabian till Glasgow, then ImaR after that?

The issue was that the link to the tour poster has dates on it for which Ima Robot is not yet confirmed...my hunch, however, is that the 25th start date is the correct one.

I'm here, that advert in the NME was terrible, what is up with virgin, horrible and cheap!

Anyway, am gutted that I wasn't on the case and its all sold out now! Can't be bothered with ebay prices, so I guess I'll just have to sit a little tight, also I will post my metro pictures......one day!!

Peace

It looks like those May dates on the Continent are sans the Von Bondies. They'll have gone a long time without headlining, so if you're in that area I wouldn't miss one of these.

More Evidence Supporting ICA Gig

I shouldn't have to get all CSI to find this info, gang, sorry...

But one more bit of evidence pointing to the fact that Ima Robot is indeed supporting from the April 19th ICA gig onward is the listing at Virgin's admittedly exclamation-point-heavy UK site, the-raft.com:

Robot Release 'Album of the Year'

Ima Robot get UK release

Ima Robot are LA based but will be in the UK to support Von Blondies on their forthcoming tour. If you were lucky enough to see them at the recent NME Award shows then you will know that The Robot have got the edge on the live scene with frontman Alex kicking up a storm at every opportunity. Their brand of electro punk pop is unbeatable live and now everyone in the UK gets a chance to get in on some action!

The dates are as follows -

19 Apr: London ICA
20 Apr: Bristol University Anson Rooms
21 Apr: Leeds Blank Canvas
22 Apr: Brighton Concorde 2
24 Apr: Liverpool Academy
25 Apr: Glasgow Garage
26 Apr: Manchester Academy
27 Apr: Birmingham Irish Centre
29 Apr: Portsmouth Pyramid Centre
30 Apr: London Astoria

Ima Robot's debut album will be out April 19th. Checkout the video to new single Dynomite on Sneaky Peeks.

Ima Von Bondie!

Ima Robot Tour With Von Bondies in April!

L.A. upstarts and pop punk quintet Ima Robot strain and jerk in the most in-human directions in an effort to tease out some of the purest, quirkiest pop tunes these raft reporters have ever heard. It's quite astounding both on record and on stage! Happy news then that Ima Robot are pleased to announce today that they are touring the UK in April with the equally brilliant Von Bondies! Oh yes!
