Update from JMJ 5/18/03

Howdy,

First of all, huge mega props to our peeps Phobiac and Draconian. Goodness me, they are the absolute beez kneez. Thank you two both so much for being the Euro/UK support system.

We had a great time out there, and I thought the reception was very good. I\'m personally dying to get back and do more damage. Other than the gigs, we spent a fair amount of time with Virgin UK and Virgin France, discussing plans, ideas, etc. Lots of really cool people at those companies.

The latest: we\'re in our studio this week, writing and recording more random stuff. Other than that, we\'re fielding offers for various live appearances for the summer which we will sort soon.

I hope the Troubador will be a nice, fun evening for everyone - please come! I think we\'re going on at 9:30PM, and again it\'s June 19th. But everyone probably knows all that, so excuse me for the redundancy.

Lastly, I LOVE LOS ANGELES. I need a burrito immediately...and Matrix Reloaded (I hope it\'s not wack).

Lots of love,
Justin

Tickets to the Troub now available via http://www.troubadour.com/
They have an antiquated ticket system, though, involving--gasp--fax machines. But it might be worth your while to get advance tix for this one, gang. We've had so much feedback from Coachella-ites who are going to be there, and bringing friends.

Europe was a blast. It sounds like Ima Robot are in very good hands with the dope crew at Virgin UK. And thanks to the band for being so accomodating about answering our relentless questions...you guys are super-literate about music and the business side of it, as well.

We're all looking forward to more new music for Seacaptain to decipher the lyrics to, and more summer tour dates! Don't say yes to any venue that features a puppet show before.

Steamrollin' :) It's all sounding great for you and the band, Justin.

And re: The Troubadour. You can also get tix thru Ticketmaster, with various and sundry heart-stopping service charges. But hey, 'twill be worth it!
