You should see the videos for Windowlicker and Come to daddy...
both are sold in his section on video singles...for real cheap like 5 bucks...
and they are totally amazing and disturbingly original...

man you made me go put the cd on !!! :saint: ...no real complaints The 'Druqks' (supposed to be the last) record is 2 cd and is a dark horse charmer...it took
me awhile to really get into it cause sometimes it's real intense electro, but
it's incredible. I think Come to Daddy is real easy to love... it's sick as hell,
but really smooth at times...I think this one has a different 'charm to it" ...


I still though haven't been able to put down '26 mix for cash'...a remix record he did for other people, but compiled on an Aphex double cd...disc one is the most gorgeous stuff I think I've ever heard with beats. 50 million thumbs up

yeah...it's a still from one of the Aphex Twins videos. I went on one of their sites, and I came across this photo and thought it was interesting..... kinda sexy in a twisted way....

is this the first time you have this Lurker? It is pretty amazing and strange, but sad at the same time. Anything that Aphex puts his mind to tends to have this eternal sadness in it. I loved Window Licker, cause it was just strange but sad at the same time. anyhow, peace

Well, ive heard of Aphex twin before...
... i just remembered that video and how it was weird/scary/cool all in one...

But the first time i saw it i was "holy shit!, what the hell!?"

Seven, you've honed in on the very melancholy sentiment that anchors his madness...the record 'I care because you do' (and I love that title because it's hard to tell where the emphasis lay) is seriously pounding and complex while simultaneously beautiful, but there is a sadness that blankets the whole album...I used to listen to the softer track (10) towards the end of the record quite a lot a few years ago...there was something so comforting about it...I guess I felt very in tune to it...
I still hold it in regards as one of my favorite records of all time.
Texturally, and emotionally, one of the greatest things I've ever heard.

and again...I'm listening to it now...not two days go by, maybe for the last year, whithout listening to disc one of '26 mix for cash'.
It usually ends my night and or wakes me up...if I had to turn in all my records and cd's save for one ...this would be the one I'd hold onto...it's that good.
