Explain to me..
Can anyone explain why my brother and his girlfriend are so fucking inconsiderate? Brody and I have been sick with a narly cold the past week or
so..Brody's actually pretty much over it, which is great..So my brother tells me that he's going home early today cuz he feels like crap and that his
g/f puked at work and on the way home (almost in her new Jetta..hahahahaaaa!)..So where are they going to be tonight?? AT OUR PLACE!!! You know, we
had colds..Puking was not involved..So she's going to bring her pukey ass to our place?? Fuck that! I'm glad I'm moving.. Oh yeah..I'm moving to Sacramento in August..
Sorry..Had to spew..

Sacramento - what awaits you there?

Oh no! I thought it was going to be Chicago. Well, if it's any consolation, you will appreciate L.A. a lot more after you've been away for an
extended period of time. Any plans to return?

I personally like to call it Excramento, but that's just me..What awaits me there? Two insanely supportive sisters..What am I leaving behind? Negative
assholes..:wow: So, they're giving me a sweet opportunity to go back to school full-time..I'm really bummed about the move, but I'll be visiting often
since, let's face it, Excramento probably doesn't have the best music scene.. :D

Drove through there on the way to Seattle, and as an artist, I loved the cityscape(?) modern design n such, but didn't experience the lifeforms.:D

from my experience, it seems that americans love just picking up and moving cities at will- seems so stange to just to randomnly move your whole life-
what about friends/family etc?

Weeellll, I don't know if I can put a finger on exactly why this is the case. It may have something to do with transportation being relatively
inexpensive, driving or otherwise, so trips back and forth might not be cost-prohibitive enough to warrant stasis. Unfortunately, I was sorta in a
pinch about moving from Cali to Minnesota, since I only got into schools at least a 3 hour flight away from L.A.
When I move back to L.A. in three years, I doubt I'll ever move anywhere else. I really love that city. A prof of mine was asking today what about
living in L.A. made me different from most Midwesterners, and I said I enjoyed the benefits of being an aggressive driver, being more tolerant of
crime, and the taste of soft tacos from a restaurant with a big "B" on the side outside.

Well, I moved away from LA and frankly, I doubt I'll go back. I'm very conscious of always moving forward in my life.
If I had gone to UCLA, graduated, and ended up working in LA for the rest of my life... I wouldn't have been too proud of myself. So after a few
years of working and spending all my time in my little car bubble driving to and from my little cubicle bubble, I got fed up and left.
Best decision I've ever made! I mean, don't get me wrong... LA is far better than 98% of the rest of the country.

All of a sudden I'm in the mood for "Sharkys". That name cracks me up, because it really is like feeding time!

Yes, feeding time for all the frat dicks and sorority sluts.. But,
damn, their tacos are tasty!!:o:D
As far as moving, there are just so many awesome places in America to live! Why not try them out and see which one fits you? Family, friends? That's
what planes are for! You can't run your life by what would be convenient for your family and friends or how much you will miss them..It's all about
looking out for #1!!! :D
